Ist Gear – 3.146

IInd Gear- 1.894
IIIrd Gear - 1.28
IVth Gear- 0.914

Reverse gear- 3.583

Differential Gear Ratio- 3.789

Tire radius-10.5”
Max Torque- 59 Nm@ 2500rpm.

CALCULATIONS:
Formula used to calculate car speed, torque, power, COG and pick up of the car.

1. Car speed = Tire Radius X RPM

─────────────
168 X Gear Ratio

2. Final Drive Ratio= Final Drive Ratio of Transmission Box X Differential Gear Ratio

3. Torque by each Gear= Gear Ratio X 59

───────────
Reverse Gear

Torque by nth Gear X Differential Gear Ratio

4. Torque by the each gear = ────────────
2

2πNT Pimep x N x A x Rx T
5. Power = ───── Kw IP= ───────────── Kw
60000 60000

N=RPM
T=Torque.
π =3.14.
A= Area of the stroke.

6. Force on each time due to the Torque applied by the shaft

T=Fxr
T = Torque on the each shaft.
F= Force on the hub (Tyre).
r = Tyre Radius.

7. To calculate acceleration:
V2 – u2 = 2as
V= u + at

8. To Calculate COG
m1 (a1i +b1j +c1k) +m2 (a2i + b2j + c2k)
(xi + yj + zk) = ──────────────────────────
m1+ m2
