Correlative Introduction

The lesson plan is for a 5th grade ELA class on correlative conjunctions. The teacher will introduce correlative conjunctions by asking students about things that come in pairs. Students will then read about correlative conjunction rules and examples. During the development, students will work in pairs and stand when their correlative conjunction is called. For independent practice, students will complete a worksheet identifying the appropriate correlative conjunction for sentences. The assessment is a five question worksheet where students can earn a total of 10 points.
