I am expressing interest, as a compassionate nursing student, in a residential position in your
hospital. I am looking to deliver quality nursing care with full devotion, a skill of which I have
been developing the past nine months in nursing school. I wish to expand on the act of caring
and build on my skills and knowledge within the profession. Not only it is my focus to
demonstrate efficiency in healthcare, but it is also my will to make an impact in all patients.

I am enthusiastic in gaining a position in pediatric ICU or ED. It is my desire to work with the
pediatric population that are in critical conditions, with the goal to make unbearable situations
less distressing. Furthermore, it is my commitment to strengthen family bonds and attend to their
needs, focusing on family-centered care.

My clinical experiences helped me develop holistic nursing care, as well as critical thinking
skills. In collaboration with other healthcare workers, I have been able to master medication
administration, patient advocacy, and time management skills. Such skills are complementary to
the principles, of which, the hospital hold in high regards.
