Description The face and body wash has a creamy texture that turns into foam and softens the skin, and
helps to improve skin after feel. Stepan ingredients are compliant with the Whole Foods
Market® Premium Body Care standards as of June 2017.

Procedure 1. In a suitable vessel equipped with heating and agitation capabilities, charge ALPHA-STEP®
PC-48 and STEPAN-MILD® GCC with mixing at 45ºC (113ºF) until homogenous. Avoid aeration.
2. Add Oil and Fragrance with agitation. Mix until homogenous and avoid aeration.
3. Add Citric Acid (50% Solution) with mixing.
4. In a separate vessel, pre-mix Deionized Water, Farmal MS 6822 and Sodium Benzoate. Heat to
45-50ºC (113-122ºF).
5. Add this premix to the batch under high shearing. A homogenizer is recommended. Mix until
homogenous and avoid aeration.
6. Cool to room temperature.
