IV. READING COMPREHENSION
Global Handwashing Day is a Day that reminds us, that all we need to save
our lives is a simple bar of soap. The day teaches others that child mortality
rates could be reduced drastically if more kids washed their hands with soap.
But in many places the availability of soap is not a problem. The problem is
encouraging people to use it. If people spread the message that such a simple
item is more powerful than some great technological innovations, millions of
lives could be easily saved.
