DICTATORSHIP IN NAZI GERMANY
INTRODUCTION
In 1919, the Germans become a republic after the loosing of world war and Kaiser was
abducted. Many people were not satisfied and had a belief that the democrats were the reason
behind losing the war. In the year 1930, the country was hit by a global economic crisis. Many
people lost their jobs a Germans were unable to pay for the war debts. There was also a political
crisis too as it was not easy to form a majority government. There was a rise of a party Germans
national socialist workers party (NSDAP). It was a small party founded in 1920 and Hitler used
his talent of oratory to attract people. The party involved the character of antisemitism and
nationalism. In the new elections held in 1933, there were posters and flags all over the streets
and the atmosphere full of intimidation. The NSDAP did not have the majority of voters.
There was an increase in intimidation and arrest of people. The communist party was
banned by the government and about ten thousand communists arrested. The political prisoners
were housed in a camp where they were tortured, ill-treated or even killed. For instance, the
guards took four Jewish prisoners at the gate and shot them dead and claimed that they had
attempted to escape. In Nazi, inhuman and unethical activities were done to people all for
power's sake. Hitler did not believe in interaction between the inferior and superior races. The
Nazi German reveals the dictatorship in racism. The government conducted racism on the
minority race which caused deaths of millions of people. Holocaust being an example that is
government-sponsored led to the deaths of millions of Jews in Germany. Third Reich
implemented and organized the killing of Jews without any reason than race (Spielvogel, J. J.
2016).
DICTATORSHIP IN NAZI GERMANY 3
The research on Nazi Germany was able to reveal how there was inhuman treatment of
people in an effort in advancing science. The most horrible acts were done by Josef Mengele
who had the urge to advance medical research. During this time medicine was still advancing
and it was proving to be important since it assisted them in living normal lives. Acts of racism
were carried out in these environments since it was very important and it was one of the areas
that was ignored. Immoral human experiments were done by genetic scientists who had the hope
of rebuilding the society with the use of biology. This kind of knowledge that was gained from
this research can be used in understanding the field ethics (Kershaw, I. 2015).
CONCLUSION
The evil inhuman acts can be traced to Nazi Germany that played a significant role in the
history The history was able to show that the ultra-racist minority leader influenced the highly
civilized and cultured society. This society become a murderous society in which people were
persecuted just because of their race. Adolf Hitler was a powerful leader who influenced his
people. He was also able to embody his ideas in pseudo-scientific ideologists that made them
more acceptable. These ideologists later led to the second world war and Holocaust. The
Holocaust was the murder of the people who were seen to be week and also the Jews. This also
included those who were disabled and mentally ill. It was in a camp called Auschwitz where
Jews were moved in hundreds and killed. It is therefore important that people are educated about
the trends that occurred in Nazi Germany
