PROCEDURE - MONITORING OBJECTIVES OF EMS AND OH&S

1. SUMMARY
1.1 This procedure is established, documented, implemented and maintained to establish procedure for
Monitoring Objectives of Integrated Management System

1.2. Responsibility and Authority for this procedure is spread across various functions within decided
scope. Senior Management Team is responsible for computing the results and taking corrective and
preventive action,

1.3. Note: This procedure has adopted some definitions developed by Locomotive Workshop,
Northern Railway, Charbagh, Lucknow

3. PROCEDURE:
1. Locomotive Workshop, Northern Railway, Charbagh, Lucknow has
established and maintained the procedure for identifying Significant aspects in Aspect and Impact
register and OHAS High risks in HIRA Register formulated by each function in the organization.

2. The criteria against which the organization evaluates its environmental and OH
& S performance, Schedule to monitor the performance has been planned and Controls are being
exerted to maintain the score equal to or below the significance level

3. Significant Aspects and Critical Hazards identified are considered and


prioritized on the basis of Severity , Fund requirement for the Financial Year and taken as objectives for
the Year

4. Status of these along with the data received from respective functions is
produced in MRM for discussion

5. Corrective actions and taken and Improvements needed are discussed and
decisions are taken in Management review meeting

6. Suitability of the Objectives are also reviewed in Management review and


suggestions for Improvement are given.
