The Process Engineer shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Review and analyze project briefs from Category/OpCo teams and convert into design basis inputs to Engineering Service Providers process team
Provide information/technical expertise throughout the various design engineering phases to the OpCo and project delivery teams with regard to all
aspects of Process Engineering
Coordinate/Liaise with OpCos /Categorys to get the required inputs to complete process engineering deliverables
Develop Design Basis, Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Heat and
Material Balances
Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (tanks, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data
sheets
Develop innovative process ideas and alternatives to be cost competitive
Calculate process plant recoveries and utility requirements
Assist Ice Cream process Core Design studies
Vendor technical evaluation and vendor document review for Concept, Front End Engineering design, detailed Engineering design for projects Yes I am Interested &
Ensure that Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Assurance Standards are followed in process design phases and documents Aware that this is not a
Perform Capital Estimates and then prepare a Project Evaluation to allow determination of the viability of the project Job Offer
In cooperation with the UEnS Cross Category teams and Engineering Service Provider, develop:
Process plant layout Name
Line Sizes and Definition of Line Sizes
Water balance calculations Email
Check the critical line routing
Material/Equipment selection designation (diagram) for plant requirements Mobile
Necessary calculations for pump NPSH requirements
Battery Limit Lists including the line lists, equipment list, and initial instrument list
Definition of mechanical design conditions for equipment and piping components Submit
Plant control philosophy and User Requirement Specifications
Factory Acceptance Test and Commissioning Plans
Participate in HAZOP studies and Value Engineering sessions Vacancy Railways
Assist in Plant start-up and performance testing, as required. 7 urgent open positions.
