people who are positive influences on your life, and preferably have people that you mix with
that you look up to and wish to emulate.
 - Have a strategy in place that you are following on a daily basis to get closer every day towards

The hardest thing for most people seems to be to do with self belief. It leads people to procrastinate, to
not work towards their goals with enthusiasm and determination (instead with scepticism and lack of
belief, ready to give up at early obstacles).

It’s interesting how many people I see in society that become self-fullfilling prophecies of themselves.
“Oh I can’t do this”, “Oh that’s easy for you, but I could never do that!”, “I’m to stupid to xyz”, etc.
It’s so easy to say negative things to yourself all the time. Why not consciously start changing the words
that go on inside your head to positive ones?

WHAT MAKES AFFILIATE MARKETING SO GREAT?
If you’re brand new to making money online, affiliate marketing is a great place to start for a variety of
reasons:

#1: It’s easy to get started

As an affiliate, you don’t have to create the products you’re promoting. You just promote something
that already exists. This is a lot easier than building and selling your own physical or digital product:
• You don’t have to spend time and money on building the product
• You don’t have to buy stock to sell, or store it anywhere
• You don’t need to figure out how to run a shopping cart
• You don’t have to handle customer support

You basically get many of the benefits of having your own product, without all the annoying parts. And
the best thing is... you can even end up earning MORE than the product owner for each sale!

#2: It’s easy to grow

One of the best ways to make more money is to add new products to your lineup. When you’re selling

But for a bare-bones affiliate website, your initial costs will be tiny: Just $10/year for a domain name,
and around $50/year for web hosting.

You can do pretty much everything yourself without spending any more, but a lot of affiliates choose to
hire people to do things like write articles, design graphics, etc. It can often be a good investment to
stop yourself from getting stuck on things you’re not good at.

Do I need to build a website?

Most of the rest of this guide is going to talk about how to build a website to make
money as an affiliate. There are certainly ways to be an affiliate without building a
website, but in my experience, building a website is more effective at generating a
long-lasting passive income.

So what are the steps involved in building your own money-

making Empire.
Affiliate Marketing

It is one of the best ways to get started with making money online. It is basically you taking a portion of
the commissions when you make a sale of someone else's product.
This commission can range up to 75% in some cases. There are affiliate products in almost any niche
there. Some of the best-selling niches include: Health and fitness, dating, hobbies, making money online,
basicly the health, wealth and relationships markets, the evergreen markets.

There are 3 main types of affiliate sites you can join to promote products on:
1- Pay per sale (clickbank)
2- Pay per click (Adsense)
3- Pay per lead (Peerfly, clickbooth)

Market Research
Now we are ready to get started and dive into one of the most important aspects of affiliate marketing
— choosing your “niche” and deciding on the affiliate products you’re going to promote.

The first step is to figure out what affiliate products you’re going to promote, how you’re going to
promote it, and whether it will be profitable! This is market research.
This is a really important step, because if you get it wrong you could end up devoting months of effort to
something that won’t ever make you money.

So u need to start by finding a niche that has good demand and a product you can affiliate to in that
niche with good commissions on offer.

Your “niche” is the general topic for your website. Like “weight loss” or “online dating”. You’ll usually
build a website around this topic, and promote affiliate products related to that topic.

Don’t make the mistake of choosing your niche topic without checking if there are any good affiliate
products first. No matter how fantastic your website is, you’re not going to make money if there’s
nothing to promote!

Instead it’s best to approach it from the other direction: Look at the available affiliate products first, and
then zero in on a niche based on these products. For instance, if you see a lot of affiliate products for
paleo recipes, you could decide to build a website about how to adopt a paleo lifestyle

A good place to start looking for affiliate products is at ClickBank. ClickBank is an affiliate network with
thousands of digital products you can promote as an affiliate.
Keyword research
Keyword research is when you find out the words and phrases that people use to find things on the
internet and find out which phrases are searched for more often and determine which phrases are more
likely typed in by people who are interested in buying the product you are promoting.

For example, when people are searching for losing weight information, they might type in “ weight loss”,
“lose weight fast”, “weight loss” and so forth.

To find out what keywords people are searching for, and how often each keyword phrase is searched for
on a monthly basis, I use the Google Keyword Tool (which is free), here is the link:

You can type in phrases into this tool and it shows you keywords related to the term that you enter, and
how many times it is searched for each month. I pay attention to the “Avg. monthly searches” figure.

As you can see, Google is suggesting phrases like “diabetic diet”, “how to lose weight”, “how to lose
weight fast” and so forth
Sometimes the keywords in here are relevant, sometimes they are not. Often it is a good way of
uncovering other phrases that you may not have initially thought of.

Plus, I use a two more tools for that, first is called Question Samurai, which is very helpful also in
uncovering what people are searching for in Google and YouTube.

The second tool is answerthepublic, which is awesome free tools that generate the results in a form of
questions. Check it out it is an amazing tool.

Here are the most profitable types of keyword phrases in order of importance

1- Product name, and ‘buy’ keyword phrases

Product names and the author names of the people who write those particular products often turn out
to convert very well in terms of sales. Sounds obvious right?
Someone Google’s a product name because they want to see a review of it or something; they find my
website with my review on it and then click my affiliate link and go buy the product.
Product names and author names are the highest converting keyword phrases as most people go Google
for a specific product name are already strongly considering buying it. It’s just up to you to help close the
sale.
Especially look out for phrases like “Buy” or “Order” or something buying related next to the keyword
phrase. For example:
Even if the person doesn’t type in a specific product name, phrases that include the word ‘buy’ (or
similar words like purchase, order, etc), often convert really well to sales, often 10 to 30 times higher
than more general phrases without the word ‘buy’ in it.

2- Crisis keywords

These phrases are typed in by someone who desperately needs the best possible information they can
find to help resolve a crisis and are often willing to pay money for the this information.

For example: Someone who searches for ‘stop dog aggression’ because their dog is aggressive towards
children and other dogs desperately needs dog training information and may well be willing to pay
money for a dog training information product that you are promoting.

Not every niche has crisis keywords associated to it, but lots of niches do, e.g. Save marriage [marriage
crisis, stop divorce, etc], yeast infections [cure yeast infection, stop thrush, etc], cat training [stop cat
scratching, stop cat meowing, etc], tomato growing [early blight treatment, cure tomato blight, etc].

3- General niche product related keywords

The third best converting keywords are phrases typed in by people who are looking for a product in that
niche but they don’t know which product exactly, e.g.: solar power kit, dog training book, daycare
management software, etc.

4- General niche-specific keywords

And the fourth best keywords are phrases that are typed in by people wanting information to do with
that niche, such as: Learn guitar: learn guitar, guitar lessons, how to play guitar, learn guitar online, etc .
Often these phrases will include words like ‘how to’, ‘online’, ‘lessons’, and so forth.

Note: The worst converting keywords

The worst keywords, ones that I don’t try to rank for, are ones that are loosely related, but not really
related enough. For example, if you are trying to rank highly for the phrase ‘golden retriever’ when you
are promoting a dog training product, you might be disappointed in the results you get, even if you rank
highly as people who are searching ‘golden retriever’ are probably just looking for the history of golden
retrievers, or information about the breed as they are thinking of buying one, or for photos of golden
retrievers and so forth. Relevancy is very important.
CONVERSION RATES
One of the most frequently asked questions by affiliates is, "what is your conversion rate? Conversion
rate is simply can be illustrated by the below:

1 sale in 100 visitors = 1/100 = 1% conversion.

1 sale in 75 visitors, thats a 1/75 or 1.3% conversion.
1 sale in 25 visitors = 1/25 = 4.0% conversion

What is a "good conversion?" Many people in direct response marketing, both on and off the internet,
quote 1% as a standard benchmark. This is also true in the ebook business, with higher numbers like 1.5-
2.0% being exceptional conversions for regular daily business, with much higher numbers (even double
digits) being common during special promotions, limited offers and launches for brand new products.

It's really difficult to say however, what is a "good" conversion without a context and especially without
knowing the cost of the product as it compares to the cost of advertising. It's more about the profit
margin, really, than the conversion. I have seen products with half a percent conversion rate which were
very profitable and I have seen products with 3% conversion rates with such high expenses and lower
retail price that the profits were rather minimal.

As an affiliate, it's also important you understand that conversion rates can vary depending on how you
calculate the statistic. For example, are you talking about
 overall conversion rate on all traffic to our sales page (from ice cold prospects to red hot
buyers), or
 your conversion rate from your traffic through your affiliate hoplink?

These can be and almost always are, two completely different numbers. Are you talking about an all-
time conversion or the conversion on a one time mailing with a special offer and deadline (special offers,
bonuses and deadlines always increase conversions).

Conversion rates can also vary from affiliate to affiliate based on whether the affiliate did any pre-selling
or not and if so, how well. THIS is the part you should pay close attention to, because you see,  you are
not limited by the average daily conversion rate of the sales page.

Pre-selling on your own web page has the potential to increase sales tremendously. On the other hand,
affiliates who do no pre-selling and send untargeted, unqualified cold traffic to the site can have
conversions far below average. I know some affiliates who complain that they've sent a few hundred
clicks already with no sales yet. Invariably, on further investigation, I found that they had done no pre
selling or they used pay per click (PPC) with very generic, poorly targeted ads driving traffic straight to
the sales page.

It's tough to have a good closing ratio when you're selling ice to eskimos. Better to sell food to a starving
crowd or sell water in the desert don't you agree?
Good affiliate marketing has a lot to do with attracting the right prospects and tapping into their thirst. It
makes no sense to try to "force" unqualified prospects to want what you have to offer. Find a thirsty or
hungry crowd that wants what you have and sell right into their existing desires!
BUILDING YOUR WEBSITE

The next phase of affiliate marketing involves building a website from which you will promote your
affiliate products.
These days it’s actually pretty easy to get a website online, even if you’ve never done it before. There
are a lot of tools available that make it a lot less daunting.

1- Register a domain name (Get you .com for only $1.00 for the first year)

The first step is to decide on a name for your website, and purchase a domain. A domain name is your

The good news is that domain names are inexpensive (typically around $10/year), and help give your
website an air of authority and credibility.
Choosing a domain name is an important step since it is essentially your business name from here on
out, so a lot of people end up getting stuck on this step, my advice is just pick either your name, or don’t
over think it much, pick an easy name to remember and easy to spell and type.

2- Get web hosting

If you imagine that your domain name is like the signage on the front of a shop, your web hosting would
be the actual shop building. It’s the place where you store all your website’s files, images and content,
so that people can view it on the web.

A lot of people get stuck on choosing a web hosting company — don’t let that be you! At the end of the
day, most web hosts will be perfectly fine for getting started.

If you’re nervous, opt for a month-to-month payment plan (rather than buying for a whole year up

WordPress is free, and it has a huge community behind it, so you’ll find a lot of tools
and support to help you.

How to install WordPress?

Most web hosts will have an easy way for you to install WordPress on your website. If you’re not sure,
this is a good question to ask a hosting company before you sign up. Test their customer support team!
Just ask them if there is a WordPress installer inside your hosting control panel, and if they have any
tutorials.

Important: There are actually two kinds of WordPress: There’s a free version that you install yourself
on your own hosting and domain, and then there’s WordPress.com which costs a monthly subscription
to use. Don’t get them confused! But you want to use the FREE version which is WordPress.org

Learning WordPress: I recommend that you spend some time on the official WordPress lessons
database: These lessons cover every topic imaginable related to WordPress.

If you get stuck, you’ll also find a lot of WordPress tutorials everywhere on the web. You could try
YouTube or Udemy for video lessons, or a regular old Google search.

Getting people to your website is essential to making money as an affiliate. No visitors means no sales,
which means no money for you! You’ll find that a lot of your energy as an affiliate is devoted to getting
more visitors to your website. Here are a few strategies you might try.

1- Search engine optimization (SEO)

I prefer to drive free traffic to my websites, simply because I love anything for free, and because
I have spent years and years mastering how to do it!!

It all comes down to how good you are at Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is not actually
that difficult, when you know what you are doing. There are two major aspects to SEO, they are
known as On page SEO and Off page SEO.

On page SEO are the things you have to do to your web pages themselves to make sure they are fully
optimized. On page SEO has changed a lot over the years, and although easy to do, there are a lot of
tricks to it, and some secrets that I use which not that many people know about.

The other aspect of SEO is Off Page SEO, and this involves getting links to your web pages from
other web pages.

SEO is the art of getting your website to appear near the top of the search engine results when someone
searches for a particular word or phrase. When you “rank” well, you get more visitors from the search
engines.

Pros: It’s free. You can get a lot of visitors if you rank well for popular search terms. It’s easy to “target”
particular kinds of people or problems, so you can attract the kind of people who will buy what you’re
promoting.

Cons: It can be slow. This is definitely not a get-rich-quick strategy! You could be waiting months to see
any movement in where your website ranks in the search engines. It can be competitive.

With SEO you’re also vulnerable to search engine algorithm updates: Sometimes they shake up the way
they calculate rankings, and you can drop down to the bottom of the list overnight. (The easiest way to
avoid this is to refrain from taking the “easy route” with sketchy tools, services, “loopholes” etc. If it

If you don’t have the time or patience for SEO, then paying for advertisements to get visitors to your
website might be a better way to go.

Pros: It’s instant, so you can start getting traffic sooner. Like SEO it can be very targeted: You can see
which ads and keywords perform best, so you can focus on those. It’s scalable… basically, once you find
something that works, you can just buy more ads to earn more money. You can often get by with less
website content, and just focus on the parts that make you money. This means it can be faster to get
your site set up.

Cons: It costs money! For a lot of affiliates starting out, this is a big problem. It can also take some trial
and error before you find something that works well for you, and you should expect to burn through a
bit of cash figuring it out. If you’re not very experienced as an affiliate it can be hard to zero in on what’s
going wrong (or right!).

Social media marketing is marketing on platforms like Facebook and Twitter. It can be fast like PPC, and
(mostly) free like SEO. Sound great? Let’s see...

Pros: There’s huge potential to reach a lot of people on social media. We’ve all heard of things “going
viral” — social media is how that virus spreads. People are much more likely to be interested in your
content if it has been recommended by a friend. It doesn’t cost anything to tweet your content out
there, or share it on Facebook (although there can be some costs involved in promoting your posts).

Cons: The hardest part is creating content or coming up with commentary that resonates with your
audience. People don’t share things they find mediocre, so you need to be clever, interesting, funny, or
mind-blowing to get people’s attention. Social media also works best if you can do it regularly, so it can
be time-consuming. It’s not a set it and-forget method of promotion.
EMAIL MARKETING

To successfully start making money online, and to have consistent results year after year, you need to
