G: General comments
It was not possible to rotate the input shaft – no backlash or gear mesh.

Due to wear signs at propeller and pinion shaft radial bearings surfaces (bearings were protected against
the rotation) in gear housing it is recommended to perform alignment check between shafts bearings seats.

Top bearing housing axial bearings seats alignment – 0,02mm

H: Workshop report
The purpose of this report is to inform about the thruster’s initial condition after dismantling, and to summarize the work that has
been performed on the unit. It covers the critical/major components. The report indicates necessary component repairs/machining,
additional new parts required, and upgrades/modifications. This report is complemented by the Rolls-Royce Quality Control (QC)
document. The QC document reports in detail relevant measurements before/after, certain assembly-specific data, and data on the
quality tests carried out during the overhaul.
