COMMUNICATION:

As our boss always used to take credit of our doing work and because of that he's
going to promote which is actually unfair and unethical so in this scenario we decided
to go with face to face conversation

 First we'll talk with our colleagues to confirm that either it's only us whose
credit has been taken or someone also facing that situation.
 Second we’ll talk with our boss about the wrong doings he did so we can solve it
out without adding HR or any other high authority.
 Finally we'll talk with HR because our boss is not taking us serious and if we
didn't talk with HR, boss will get promotion which is actually the right of
employees not the boss.

VALUES:

By following the ethical guideline, we'll inform the Human Resource

Department due to the following values:

Economic Security:

The code of ethics does not allow any

employ, whether inferior or superior, to
exercise authority over others work and
credit. Everyone’s work represents what
sort of employ they are.

Sophistication:

The promotion should be my right as the boss was appreciated

because of my hard work and success of which he smooched of the
credit.
Stability:

It would be wrong as many people in the society do this. Promotions

will be given unlawfully and people will eventually lose belief in the
system.

Ethical Practice:

Company would get corrupted because a mite like him would be

encouraged to look for shortcuts.

Personal Development:

My pride will be hurt as it is my responsibility to strike down injustice.

DIALOGUES:
Conversation between colleagues
He : hey!!!
Colleague: hi... How you doing?
He : I'm fine. You tell?
Colleague: I'm also fine. (Busy doing work on laptop)
He: I want to talk to you about something serious if you have time. (Tensed)
Colleague: Sure... Why not (leave doing work and listen him carefully)
He: I'm facing it many times i just want to confirm that you and other colleagues also
facing this or it’s only me.
Colleague: yeah! Sure! Just speak up!
He: I noticed boss take the credit of my work and now he's going to have promotion
and we are still here without having any bonus even. (Sad)
Colleague: yeah brother i also face this thing i was just confuse that should i speak up
or not (Shocked)
He: Ohh.... Now it’s confirm that many of us not having credit or promotion because of
boss.
Colleague: yeah brother.... What to do now?
He: we should talk to other colleagues and then talk to boss collectively.
Colleague: yeah it's a right decision.....tomorrow, we’ll talk with boss.
(Conversation between colleagues and boss)

Knock the office door!

He: HI! May I come in?
Boss: yeah!
He: Sir some colleagues are standing outside... We all of us actually want to talk to you.
Boss: About what you all want to talk? (Being busy in mobile)
He: Sir about our promotion and work done by us.... (Boss cut my words)
Boss :( Call the peon and ask in anger and raising his voice) where is my coffee??
Peon: it’s coming in 2 minutes sir (fearful)
Boss: (with peon) leave!!..... You too (with colleague)
He: Sir! But I came here to talk.... (Boss cut his words)
Boss: But i don't want to talk (in anger and raising his tone) you may leave now
He: But Sir you can't do this...
Boss :( turn his chair and put headphones in his ears)
He: (left the office)

(Conversation with Assistant HR and colleagues)

Colleagues: we don't want to solve this feedback because we directly want to talk with HR (with
assistant of HR)

Assistant: yeah!! Just give me 2 minutes... Let me ask first (talk to HR on cell phone)

Assistant: yeah!!! You can go in 10 minutes.

Colleagues: Okay! No problem!

(Conversation with colleagues and HR)

He: Hi! May I come in sir?

HR: Hi! Yeah! Please (Smile)

He: may i call the other colleagues because we all want to talk to you.

HR: yeah... Sure (surprisingly)

He: (call the other colleagues inside the office)

Colleagues: Hello Sir!

HR: Hello everyone!

Colleagues: (start the discussion and tell everything about the boss with proves, recording and
documents) and Sir that's why we don't want to fill the feedback because this matter would solve if we
directly talk to you

HR: yeah! (Surprisingly and shocked) You all take the good decision as you speak tell everything to me.

Colleagues: (Tensed)

HR: but you all have to fill the feedback because we also need the record for someone to show it higher
authority

Colleagues: Okay Sir! (Fill the feedback)

HR: Good!

Colleagues: thankyou sir!

HR: No need to be thanks in fact i am happy that you speak up for your rights in this situation where
your boss frightened you

Colleagues: Bye.... Have a nice day Sir! (Smile and leave the office)

HR: bye.... Have a nice day all of you!

SOLUTION:

First we made a WhatsApp group and read the scenario carefully and then we have
discussion about it. Few of us wanted to go with the first option that employees should
let their boss get promotion but after having more discussion and seeing ethics we
decided that employees should talk first with the boss about it. But then we thought
they should talk to other colleagues about it before reaching the conclusions because
they could be wrong. After having conversation with different other colleagues. They
got to know that it's not only them. So, we finally decided that now they should
directly talk to the boss about it. But as always boss treated their employees badly
and as he was not sorry at all what he did and going to have promotion without feeling
bad about his employees then we finally decided that employees should talk to HR
without thinking the loss of boss. Even employees should show all the records and
documents of their working for which he had been taking credit. And this was the
right time and opportunity to speak up for the rights of all of them. Then we divide the
three questions to three persons and 1 question (dialogues) between two persons. And
we also helped each other in their questions.
