PMB 40 Specifications and Benefits

PMB 40 is a high performance polymer modified bitumen designed for years of performance on pavements. It undergoes complex processing at high temperatures to modify bitumen properties, resulting in higher stiffness, enhanced fatigue life, and better resistance to creep. Use of PMB 40 leads to excellent pavement life, driving comfort, and low maintenance. PMB 40 is generally supplied in bulk tankers for ease of handling but can also be supplied in 200kg barrels. It has various characteristics tested through standard methods such as penetration, softening point, and elastic recovery to ensure quality.

IWL BITUMENS

DESIGNED FOR YEARS OF PERFORMANCE

POLYMER MODIFIED BITUMEN

PMB 40 is a high performance polymer modified bitumen manufactured using high quality polymers in a sophisticated high reactor at
high temperature. Complex processing modifies the properties of bitumen and imparts, higher stiffness modulus, enhanced fatigue life,

better resistance to creep and higher indirect tensile strength, elasticity and other beneficial properties to make it better able to
withstand high traffic loads. Use of PMB leads to excellent pavement life, driving comfort and low maintenance.

PMB 40 is generally supplied in Bulk, in tankers for ease of handling. It may also supplied in 200kg barrels on request.
