B) Background
[CE 1.2] Medical imaging plays an adequate role in the numerous abnormalities diagnosis
occurring in the anatomy of human in this advanced medical technology era. Radiography is one
such major filed in medical imaging and it is majorly utilized imaging technique in the field of
medical. Radiography is one of the rising field in this enhancing health awareness age and it is
also linked with the dental radiography. Numerous previously human teeth undetected diseases
with the oral cavity can be diagnosed with the dental radiographs assistance. Numerous
radiographs types like extra oral and intraoral x-rays are taken for numerous diseases diagnosis
like mandibular fractures, dental caries, gum disorders and tumors, etc. It assist well in the
wisdom tooth growth monitoring along with the treatments course monitoring in the surgery,
implants, etc. According to the various types of x-rays requirements like panoramic radiographs,
occlusal, bitewing, etc. x-rays are typically taken.
[CE 1.3] The project conducted was based on the dental radiographs analysis utilizing image
processing technique with the algorithms applied in the technical and numerical computing
environment like MATLAB. I applied the processes on the dental radiographic images in the
software and it aided the various regions identification of normal and diseased teeth in the
anatomy of human.
[CE 1.4] The work was mainly relied on conducting an analysis on the dental radiographs with
the usage of the image processing method based on the algorithm applied in the numerical and
technical environmental computing.

B) Background
[CE 2.2] Physiotherapy which is typically termed after the process of the physical therapy
mainly introduced first in the United States. There are many fields from which the profession is
linked and it include sports, chronic pain, orthopedics, and industrial rehabilitation of the
workers who typically face accidents. The muscles can be strengthened from the exercise and
assist well in improving the motion range of the human. Exercises can even assist patients in
improving their balance. Physiotherapy is a sort of medical exercise which work well in
overcoming the pain of the human body specifically the pain related to the neck.
[CE 2.3] The project aim was promoting the research related to the health services in the
rehabilitation of the neck in which I gathered the information related to the process of the neck
physiotherapy, methods and the outcomes. During the conducted research, it was noted that the
neck pain was common and it typically caused various issues and thus, the adequate treatment
was required for overcoming the issue. The most trustable and effective treatment process is the
physiotherapy and it worked as the effective method for the neck pain.
[CE 2.4] I conducted the research regarding the existing literature and it indicated that the
machines present for the neck physio were costly and these were uncomfortable during the
process of therapy. These were required to be used in the physiotherapist presence. The project
was based on making the research which included cost-effective, wearable with the automated
neck framework which assisted well for the physiotherapist operation and it gave the adequate
therapy to the neck. I designed the model which was self-operated without any requirement of
the physician. I obtained the results which indicated that the automated framework was
advantageous for medium and minor back pain level.

Biometric Fingerprint & Speech System

B) Background
[CE 3.2] Because of the growing importance related to the information technology, the concept
of reliable person identification is mandatory and it became the protection necessity and
providing the access restriction. An access grant point works with the verification and everyone
required to successfully accepted and identified the specific privileges. The identification is very
appropriate in the lawsuit as it works as the optimum choice. But, these are not the specified
domains in which the usage of the identification was required. The usage range is much greater
and the person verification is not only linked with the biometry. The concept of biometry mainly
consist of all the system for making the interface among the human and the computer system.
[CE 3.3] The project objective was dealing with the biometric security system design which was
dependent on the speech and fingerprint technology. I executed the biometric security systems
which worked with the technologies integration. I then defined the fingerprint technology with
the speech technology and there were various principles worked well for specifying the
technologies.
[CE 3.4] The work nature was identified well with the biomedical engineering concepts
utilization and I continuously conducted the research well for getting the work objectives within
the specified timeline of the project.
