Srf Yss Lessons Original :-All pioneers like Swami Shree Satyanandaji have been intentionally
forgotten.In the book "Memoirs of Swami Bidyananda Giri-Jeevansmriti" Parmhansaji's Indian Direct
Disciple Bidyananda Giri writes in chapter-XIV,'Once Again In the Arena Of activities At Lakhanpur',"After
entering in the monastic order, twenty years of life were spent in the light and shade of the active
workfield.The Vidyalaya at Ranchi had to be rebuilt.Swami Satchitanandaji and Brahmachari
Shuddhanandaji,a disciple of SWami Atmanandaji were coworkers and friends.Meanwhile,Dayamataji
removed Swami Atmanandaji,the tireless worker of Yogoda Sat Sanga,from the post of General Secretary
and appointed Sri Binay Narayan Dubey in his place. He was not till then aquainted with all. He had also
not been seen earlier in any work of Yogoda. After he took charge, substantive changes and expansion
activities commenced in Yogoda. Sri Ram Kishore Roy, one of the Directors of Yogoda Sat Sanga at
Ranchi was dissatisfied. Swami Satchitanandaji was removed annoyed. The workers of the Dakshineswar
Math in Calcutta started feeling helpless. the devotees on Calcutta and other places became frustrated
at the departure ofAtmanandaji.Inspite of my disagreement, Swami Satchidanandaji was removed from
Ranchi Ashram and reansferred to the Dakshineswar Math.The devotees of the Ranchi Ashram and
others in general also became dissatisfied to see all these changes. I also reached a state of helpless. Sri
Guru was the only resort at this stage......So, before the conflict of opinion and ways deepened, I handed
over the entire charge at Ranchi to Sri Binay Narayan dubey and moved to Lakhanpur, the field of my
planned activities.''In chapter XVIII 'Dependent On God' Swami Bidyanandaji writes "In 1972, I withdrew
myself fully from the management of shools at Lakhanpur.Yet to prevent any difficulty of the
institutions, I remained at the Ashram for six more years absorbed in the earnest Sadhna in my own
way. But finding that some power-greedypersons did not like it. I left Lakhanpur and came to Puruliya.
At lonely place near Sahebbandh, a 'Dhyanmandir' was constructed and I started living there in my own
way''. These type of stories may be with all sincere Direct disciples like Dr. Lewis,Oliver Black,Roy Eugen
Davis, Premanandaji,Kriyanandaji,etc.etc.... Now who knows, cares for those Heroes when in the history
of YSS/SRF these figures are deleted?

About Swami Atmananda Giriji his disciple Swami Gyanananda Giriji says in an interview:-Did it take you
long to meet your guru?
One week.
Oh! You must have heard about him before coming here.
No, no!
But how did you find him? Coming to India in those days at the age of 23 wasn’t so common.
True — I had never heard of anyone who had done it. So many tried to discourage me, but as soon as I
arrived here everything happened. The guru actually expected me — he knew I was coming on such-and-
such a date. I didn’t know myself. He told a disciple a person would arrive while he was away and to ask
him — me — to wait three days. I waited. I could have chosen between two persons — each could have
been my guru. But my natural inclination drew me to the person who kept me waiting.
Where did all this happen?

Swami Atmananda Giriji, an old friend of Yoganandaji Prakash Das who was Secretary of YSS.
Swami Jnanananda Giri in his book ''Transcendent Journey" writes about him: "In early 1960,
Gurudeva Swami Atmananda Giri retired from the Yogoda Satsanga Society, the Indian
counterpart of Paramahansa Yogananda's Self Realization Fellowship. He had been its
Secretary and Pradhan Dharmacharya in India for over twenty years, having assumed these
responsibilities at the request of Paramahansa Yogananda. Jnanananda had long ago distanced
himself from all organisational activities. In fact, he had been encouraged to do so by his Guru.
"Do not ever join any ashram or institution. Be friend of all. Herewith you are given the
authority to pass on kriya yoga to all who are qualified. Others you must encourage to follow
their chosen path. Always be broad-minded, and remain independent. Remember, whosoever
comes to you has been sent to you by God"(Page 163). On another page Jnananandaji writes:
"The Pilgrim was privileged to see some letters written by Paramahansa Yogananda to Sri
Prakash Das. One letter referred the science and application of yogic healing power. Another
letter was a personal letter to Sri Prakash Das to take on the responsibilities of the institution
in America, from which Paramahansa wished to retire. This offer Sri Prakash Das modestly
denied."(Page-95).
"Instead of the planned tour of four months in the west, Brahmachari Sri Prakash Das visited Paramhansa
Yogannda's Self Realization Fellowship headquarters in California for just three months.He returned to
India as Swami Atmanandagiri"
"Swami Atmananda was to visit the USA a second time, after the passing away of Rajarsi Jankananda. On
that occasion also, he returned sooner then expected, after just three weeks.When asked about it, his
answer was that the life of there did not suit his temperament"(from Transcendent Journey, page
no.110,By-Jnananada Giri,who is still in body living at Deharadun,India).
We should have a question, "What happened that at first time when he(Atmanandaji) went first time he
stayed for 3 months in California Ashram instead going for 4 months in the West and when he went
second time to visit USA he returned just after 3 weeks and said that THE LIFE THERE DID NOT SUIT
HIS TEMPERAMENT?"Means there was something unusual after passing of Rajarsi Janakanandaji.
Swami Atmanandaji was removed by Dayamataji in 1959 from the post of General secretary.About
Swami Atmanandaji, Swami Bidyanandagiriji( Direct disciple of P.Y.) writes "THE TIRELESS WORKER OF
YOGODA SAT SANGA".
Actually there should be an INQUIRY COMMISSION OF DEVOTEES OF SRF AND YSS TO FIND OUT
TRUTH INSTEAD OF GAME OF TENNIS LIKE GAME OF WORDS.There should not have been any change
after...

There should not have been any change after the author left his physical body. If there was any change
then it should have been clearly marked as "modified version by .......". Will you accept if someone
modifies BhavadGita or Ramayan? After YSS was taken over by SRF, what was the reason why Swami
Atmanand Giri who was personally initiated into Sanyas order by Paramahansa Yogananda ji and
appointed by him as General Secretary of YSS, was forced to leave, resulting in all other Indian monks
leaving YSS in protest. To replace them all American monks were sent from USA. Yoganand ji did not
initiate Sri Sri Daya Mata into Sanyas. She came to India and took sanyas from the Shankaracharya of
Puri. As mentioned in a book "Transcendent Journey" written by Swami Gyananand Giri, Mahavatar
Babaji himself used to send some devotees to Swami Atmanand Giri for Kriya initiation. There were great
Indian monks like Swami Brahmanand Giri and Swami Vidyanand Giri who left YSS after the take over.
Yoganadaji's direct disciple Swami Bidyananda Giriji wrote about Atmanandaji that HE WAS TIRELESS
WORKER OF YSS AND WAS REMOVED FROM THE POST OF GENERAL SECRETARY BY SHREE DAYAMATA
( THIS HAPPENED AFTER PARAMHANSA YOGANADAJI'S MAHASAMADHI WHEN SHREE DAYAMATA HAD
