Company Overview:
DK DESIGN Enterprise is a clothing apparel business. This company applying 'anti-sexism'
that means equal between two genders. Before DK DESIGN has started, the founder of the
business has done some research at almost all department store that sells clothing apparel in
Malaysia. Most of the store succeed to satisfy the customers' wants, selling clothes. However,
what she realised that every department store that she visited, men department is smaller than
women’s department. Also, there is one choices in terms of designs and patterns for men.
What DK DESIGN does is to provide clothes and accessories that everyone can wear no
matter how gender they are. The uniqueness of our products is the material and design. There
are many designs and patterns that matches with our customers. We will ensure our
customers satisfy with our products with high quality.
Marketplace and Strategy:
Analysis has shown that most of the customers who come to clothing apparel stores are
women. Also, there are few stores that provide unisex department which are men's and
women’s departments. What it has shown is men’s department is smaller than women’s
department. Sometimes, men’s clothing is not attractive as women’s clothing. Most of men’s
clothing are just plain boring designs and patterns and there are no choices for men to choose
their clothes. Besides, most of the material that applied for women’s clothing is not
comfortable as men’s clothing and it is more expensive than men’s clothing.
From here, DK DESIGN will make sure all the materials that used for clothes are suitable
with the weather and provides a lot of designs and patterns. The market place will be at
capital city in each states in Malaysia for start-up the business. The manufacturing will locate
at Thailand to save management cost. When the business is successful, DK DESIGN will also
operate in Singapore and Brunei. For the HQ will be at Melawati Mall, Taman Melawati
Kuala Lumpur.
Product and services:
DK DESIGN introduced the very first department store that sells unisex clothing called
'kirakira' season. When all genders can mix and match their clothes without feel aware about
its size, material, pattern and design of the clothes. Most of the material that DK DESIGN use
are cotton, linen, rayon and denim. Those fabrics are suitable with hot weather and it will feel
comfortable when the customers wear them. Not only for casual wear but also for formal
wear. DK DESIGN also will open the stored there will be two departments divided equally.
Thus, there is no inequality between two genders and there will be a lot of choices of
clothing.
Operations and development:
All the operations and manufacturing will be held in Thailand to save the management cost.
Firstly, DK DESIGN did some research and surveys to collect people’s thoughts about
fashion industry. Because of this, DK DESIGN manage to bring up ideas to make unisex
department stores and using 'anti sexism' as motto of the company. The fabrics that DK
DESIGN use will not be 100% cotton and so on. The fabrics will be mixed it to make it more
comfortable when wear it. DK DESIGN will operate all the operations and management that
include all the process from being input until become output and distribute to all branches.
MARKETING PLAN
Products:
DK DESIGN has come out with business idea called 'KiraKira' season. This product is a new
clothing line in the department. 'Kirakira' got its name from Japanese ' きらめき ' say it as
‘kirameki’ means 'glitter' or informal meaning 'shiny'. Everyone likes shiny things. 'kirakira
season brings the clothing designs that everyone can wear it or it called as unisex clothing but
it is not only a plain shirt, it can be formal and casual clothing. There are many sizes and
designs available that suitable with both genders.
Target Market
DK DESIGN targeting women and men customers with medium income which are from
teenagers, who do not have income and most of them are getting their allowances from their
parents and also they work as part-timer in any shops to satisfy their wants and needs. Also to
the adults who are in age below than 30, who has working in at medium income at below RM
3,000.

DK DESIGN is a clothing apparel company. DK DESIGN will provide products to customer
with good quality and latest trend. In the company process, DK DESIGN will process the
clothes in Thailand. DK DESIGN does the process clothes in Thailand is to save the
operational cost. The quality of the fabrics such as cotton, rayon and denim are suitable for
hot weather. The customer especially the customer that we targeted will enjoy the goods.
Once the finished goods have been processed. DK DESIGN will pack the clothes in
warehouse. DK DESIGN has several employees will work in warehouse. In the warehouse
itself, there are many clothes and accessories. Variety design and latest trends for the
customer. After packing the order, DK DESIGN send the orders our product to poslaju, DHL
or others transportation to our customers. We also provide Cash on Delivery (COD) service
within Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley.

DK DESIGN will be going to sell the product through online. Online marketing is one of the
best platforms to do the business by creating the company own website. DK DESIGN also
have its own official account in social media such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. This is the
easiest way for customers to buy the product. Especially as its mentioned earlier that the
target market for customer age between 18-35. So they can use their social media and start
follows us to purchase. Not only that, DK DESIGN also will create apps for the customers so
that they can use the apps to buy and purchase from us. Besides that, for the payment system,
the customer will pay through online banking in the company bank account. Once the
payment done, the operational department will start designing the clothes just-in-time (JIT).
Moreover, for delivery, DK DESIGN delivery the customers’ product through poslaju, DHL,
or our own transportation. Last but not least, we will ask the customers feedback once they
receive their parcels. from the feedback customer we develop our company.
