SMA DEIE Interface
Communication and control interface for PV-Plants >250 kW
The SMA DEIE interface is a controller used as a gateway between the DEIE and the SMA datalogger devices like SC-COM,
Cluster Controller or Sunny WebBox. It manages the grid disconnection and the reduction of active and reactive power
requested by the DEIE via the digital and analog signals. It can be installed in parallel of an existing controller managing other
functions of the DEIE.
Via the DEIE system, the grid operator ERDF wants to monitor and manage the PV plants via multiple digital and analog
inputs/outputs.
