Task: Students will listen to a reading of Amazing Dolphins and identify


reasons based on a given author’s point.

Directions:
1. Read Amazing Dolphins to students.
2. Discuss the author’s point – a dolphin can make lots of sounds.
3. Have students write and/or draw why dolphins make different
sounds using the provided document.
