We invite and encourage parents and students from the senior, junior and sophomore classes to attend this year's
Minnesota Independent School Partnership College Fair. This event is a valuable opportunity for students in all three
classes​ ​to​ ​connect​ ​with​ ​college​ ​representatives​.

SENIORS - ​Whether you have a "short list" of colleges in mind or are still searching for some additional options, the
MISP Fair is ​a great opportunity to make a personal connection with colleges that interest you. You may ask
questions, obtain or request brochures and applications, or have a conversation with the representative to let
them​ ​know​ ​if​ ​you​ ​have​ ​a​ ​strong​ ​interest​ ​in​ ​the​ ​college.
JUNIORS - ​The MISP fair is an ideal opportunity for you to gather general information ​and add your name to
mailing lists for colleges that interest you. This is the time to "shop around" and learn about the general features
and differences among various colleges and universities. You can inquire about the best time to visit the campus,
major​ ​programs,​ ​extracurricular​ ​opportunities,​ ​campus​ ​life,​ ​and​ ​admission​ ​requirements.
SOPHOMORES - ​This is not a required activity. However, for students who are eager to start researching colleges,
the​ ​MISP​ ​Fair​ ​is​ ​an​ ​easy​ ​way​ ​to​ ​become​ ​familiar​ ​with​ ​the​ ​many​ ​types​ ​of​ ​colleges.

IF YOU NEED HELP - ​Your college counselor will be in attendance and can point you in the right direction, suggest
some​ ​colleges​ ​to​ ​consider,​ ​and​ ​answer​ ​some​ ​quick​ ​questions.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – ​The MISP Fair is offered exclusively for parents and students of our schools. Please do
not invite students from other schools to attend. On the day of the fair, please wear soft soled shoes in order to
preserve​ ​the​ ​gym​ ​floors.

Breck​ ​School​ ​is​ ​conveniently​ ​located​ ​at​ ​123​ ​Ottawa​ ​Avenue​ ​North,​ ​Golden​ ​Valley,​ ​Minnesota​ ​55422.​ ​The​ ​campus​ ​is​ ​just
off​ ​of​ ​the​ ​intersection​ ​of​ ​Glenwood​ ​Ave​ ​and​ ​Highway​ ​100,​ ​north​ ​of​ ​Interstate​ ​394.

From​ ​the​ ​west​ ​via​ ​Interstate​ ​394

Go​ ​east​ ​(towards​ ​downtown​ ​Minneapolis)​ ​on​ ​Interstate​ ​394.​ ​Take​ ​the​ ​north​ ​Hwy​ ​100​ ​exit.​ ​Continue​ ​north​ ​approximately
1.5​ ​miles.​ ​Take​ ​the​ ​Glenwood​ ​Ave​ ​exit​ ​and​ ​turn​ ​left​ ​at​ ​the​ ​stop​ ​light.​ ​ ​Ottawa​ ​Ave​ ​is​ ​the​ ​second​ ​left​ ​once​ ​you​ ​are​ ​on
Glenwood​ ​Ave.​ ​ ​Breck​ ​School​ ​is​ ​two​ ​blocks​ ​down.
