Agenda: Sharing Best Practices
Date: August 6, 2019
Time Started: 3:00 pm
Discussion: Each member of the group was given a chance to share best practices and
techniques that he/she use in his/her class in order for the students to learn easily
and effectively a particular lesson.
From those best practices shared by the members of the group, we choose some
activities and techniques that we can use to our subject to get much better learning
outcomes and to promote collaborative learning.
These are the following:
o NO ENGLISH POLICY in time of our Filipino class.
o Try to incorporate some trivia related to our language and culture in most of
our lessons.
o Collaborative learning strategies:
Roundtable Discussion
Panel Discussion
Brainstorming
Role-Playing
Socio drama
Reminders: As an assignment for our next meeting, each member needs to think about some
possible reasons why there’s a high number of students in SBS showing difficulty
This
activity may address one of those brutal facts related to us for being a teacher in
FILIPINO.

Minutes of the Meeting
Agenda: Addressing Brutal Facts
Date: October 8, 2019
Time Started: 3:00 pm
Discussion: Sharing of some possible reason on why there’s a high number of students in SBS
Pangungusap”.
Some common reasons:
After the sharing, the members of the group will reflect on how we can address
this kind of problem so that we can improve the student’s knowledge and learning
process regarding that topic.
Reminders: Each member should prepare a sample of a short Paper-and-pencil assessment on
the topic discussed.
