Annex F Toxicology Report

The chemistry and toxicology report analyzed two specimens from a case involving the alleged rape and homicide of Andrea Al Alawi by suspect Epren Elfin Berias. Specimen Submitted:

• Piece of cloth taken from the crime scene


• Oropharynx swab from the victim

Purpose of Examination:
To determine the presence of volatile (sic), non-volatile and/or metallic poison on the above
stated specimen

Findings:
Toxicological examination conducted on the above stated specimen gave the following result:

• Piece of cloth: POSITIVE to the test for trichloromethane or chloroform, a volatile


poison.
• Oropharynx swab: POSITIVE to the test for trichloromethane or chloroform, a
volatile poison.
Conclusion:
Both the above-stated specimens contain trichloromethane or chloroform, a volatile poison.

REMARKS:

The original copy of both specimens submitted are retained in this laboratory for future
reference.
