Description of the app

“ Baladiyati 2018” is a user-friendly app that has been designed to allow citizens to follow
the municipal electoral campaign more effectively. Its purpose is to enable the user to be
informed about the electoral lists whether they be partisan, independent or coalitionary as well
as the political program advanced by each one of them. The app also contains the results of the
municipal elections in almost all the 27 constituencies.

Targeted readers

The user guide of the app is designed to all those who are registered to vote in the
municipal elections. The guide purpose is to help you install and use the app in an effective
way.

1. Installing the app

To find and install “Baladiyati 2018”

mobile application, follow the highlighted

three steps below.

Step 1: On your Android, click on Step 2: Tap the ‘search’ icon, enter

‘Baladiyati 2018’ in the searh field, then Select

‘Google Play Store’ .

Step 3: Tap ‘install’ to begin the

download, then wait for a while until the app

is being downloaded and installed as

highlighted in these two figures.

Note: The procedure to find and install “Baladiyati 2018” for iPhone is similar (App Store).

2. Launching the app

Once the installation is over, users

automatically receive a stand up icon where

they installed the application. To launch the

app, follow the below step as highlighted in

these two figures.

Step 4: Select the ‘open ‘ button, or tap

3. Exploring the app

By launching the app, users will instantly be put through a toolbar that consists of four

main icons: the home icon ‘My municipality 2018’, the ‘Who we are’, the ‘Lists’, and the

‘Results’.

3.1 The home icon “My Municipality/Baladiyati 2018”

To explore the home icon, follow these

steps as shown in the below figure.

3.2 The “Who we are?” icon

For users to explore the ‘Who we are’

icon, follow these steps as highlighted below.

3.3 The “Lists” icon

By clicking on the ‘lists’ icon, users can access the candidate list types, their details,

their electoral statements, and their posters. To do so, follow the below steps:

in the below two figures. To get the poster,

follow the below step.

3.4 The “Results” icon

At this stage, users can access the election results of any candidate list type in any

governorate and any municipality. To get the results, follow these steps as highlighted below

4. Uninstall the app

5. FAQs

Why the category of « Baladiyati 2018 » app on android is different from that on iOS
smartphones?

Each of these two operating systems has its own peculiarities. They both use different
programming languages.

Is it possible to add another icon for mutual interaction between electoral candidates and
users?

Yes, of course. However, this suggestion cannot be implemented without the engagement
of all those who are involved in the project notably the electoral candidates and Mourakiboun
Network

Who is responsible for the missing data?

Unfortunately, it is the responsibility of all of us -we as citizens of this country, the

Independent High Authority for Elections (IHAE), which is known by its French acronym
(ISIE) and Mourakiboun Network association. We can overcome this problem by sending data
concerning the electoral candidates of your municipality to [email protected].
