PERSONAL CASE ANALYSIS 2

My organization is my Starbucks store that I worked at for 2 years in Atlanta, Georgia.

Your role in the organization (it can be an internal or external role)

I am a barista in this situation.

A description of the situation, including information you think the will help the reader

understand the most important elements of the situation. (This will require selectivity: part

of the art of case writing is separating the essential facts from the mass of information that

might be included).

In this situation, my Starbucks store had to undergo major changes due to the high crime

and drug problem amongst our patrons due to the heroin epidemic. Every week we had to call

911, whether because of a robbery or because of a disturbance. We had 4 drug overdoses in my

store with one resulting in a death. To try to maintain a safer environment after the death, we

had to educate ourselves on the different dangers we were experiencing in our city, in addition to

renovating our business operation.
