1. Give an account of composition and function of Pharmacy Council of
India constituted under the pharmacy act, 1948.
(a) Define drugs and magic remedies. What classes of
advertisements are prohibited under the drugs and magic
remedies DA) act?
2. Explain the procedure of taking a sample of drug for the purpose of test

by the drug inspector?


3. What are the conditions to be fulfilled for the manufacture of
formulations under schedules C and C drugs?

II. Write short answers on any SIX questions: (6 x 5 = 30)

6. Write a note on government analyst
7. How import of drugs and cosmetics controlled?
8. Write briefly about packing and labeling of drug formulations
9. Describe about details of non-bonded laboratory?
