Importance of Din in Human Life

1. Importance of Din as a way of life


“So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Qur'an which We have sent down. And Allah is
Acquainted with what you do.”
(Al-Taghabun: 8)

2. Deen is spiritual Cure of Modern Man


“And this [Qur'an] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed, so follow it and fear Allah that you
may receive mercy.”

(Al-An’am: 155)

3. The only ray of hope


“Our Sustainer is He who gives onto everything [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon
guides it [towards its fulfilment].”

(Surah Taha: 50)

4. Deen Leads Mankind from darkness to light


“It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring
you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful.”

(Al-Hadid: 9)

5. Deen sets the criterion for the Right and wrong


“Ramadan is the month in which was sent down the Quran, as a guide to mankind, also clear Signs for
guidance and judgment between right and wrong”

(Al-Baqarah: 185)

6. Deen Provides Principles for establishment of Justice


“We have sent down to you the Book in truth that you might judge between men, as guided by Allah.”

(Al-Nisa: 105)

7. Deen brings modesty


“Verily, every religion has a character and the character of Islam is modesty.”

(Ibn Abbas)

8. Deen brings easiness


“The  deen  [religion] is ease. Whoever makes the  deen  too hard for himself will be overpowered”
(Abu Hurairah)

9. Deen is Naseehah
The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, “The deen (religion) is naseehah (advice, sincerity).” We said, “To
whom?” He (‫ )ﷺ‬said, “To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and to the leaders of the
Muslims and their common folk.”
