If the following message appears, it’s that AFT automatically Check version function.
Please update the latest version.
The download screen will automatically appear after pressing the OK button

 Please note that if this message appears, it means that you are not using the latest version, so
be sure to download it again.
 Please note that the correct version number, that is, the name of the SIP download file, such as
ASUS_Flash_Tool_HuaQin_v1.0.4_H0711, H0711 is alos one of the version number, do not
ignore.

7 AFT for Qualcomm model：

7.1 Download Image: example as below
Qualcomm image doesn’t unzip.

7.2 Select model

7.3 Wipe data → Yes → wipe user data & unlock FRP
Wipe data → no → no wipe user data

7.4 Select path icon → Select image folder → Open image folder

AFT will check the latest version of user image.

If the user image is not the latest image, then AFT will pop up the tips as below
You can still flash the image via click”Yes”.

7.5 Press and hold the “Volume up” +”Power key” until you see the ASUS logo and release button.
Device will into fastboot mode as below.

7.6 Connect the phone to PC via USB cable.

The tool will auto detect ADB driver until scan success as below.

7.7 Select the device → execute it.

7.8 Select “Yes”.

7.9 AFT is flashing image and don’t touch the usb cable.

7.10 After update is finished, the screen will show as below.

7.11 If download pass and the device remain in start state, please press power key at start state, and
device will auto reboot and into Android System.

7.12 FRP Unlock function

If the device is locked by FRP, please reboot device to bootloader and unlock the device via FRP
Unlock button. When it is done, device will auto reboot.

8.1 Download Image: example as below

8.2 MTK Image must Unzip Image

Download Rework-secro file and put it into image folder(Only below models need the steps)

8.3 If you select MTK model, it will automatically close this AFT and start up AFT for MTK model as

Note:
LOAD DA file/Check DA fail
When you see the message that means the tool try to load some files from last record, but you
are unable to have same file path with my setting; so you can restart AFT to load correct files
and avoid the message after model selected.

8.4 Select model

8.9 Make sure device already shut down (No display and screen black)
and you don’t have to connect USB cable so far(8.1~8.7)
8.10 Press and hold the “volume Down” key of phone. (ZC451TG、ZC450TLT、Z170MG= volume up)
8.11 Connect the phone to PC via USB cable.
8.12 The tool will auto detect COM port until scan success.
8.13 Release the “Volume Down” key after scan success. (ZC451TG、ZC450TLT 、Z170MG = volume
up)

When device Scan Success, the driver will automatically abort and wait for next step.

8.14 Press “Start”.

8.15 Press “OK”.

8.16 The AFT automatically loads the program.

8.17 Re-plug USB cable on computer side once, and 10 seconds later the DL will be starting.
If you waiting for 10 seconds haven’t show DL %, keeping on press [Volume down] 10 seconds
until DL% starting. (ZC451TG、ZC450TLT、Z170MG = volume up)

8.18 The driver status of flashing image

8.19 After update is finished, the screen will shows as below.

8.20 If error shows as below (DA Error or DL Error), please copy “Rework-secro” folder to image
folder again.

8.21 If you’ve done Step 8.18, still on 0% over 60 seconds, please restart Steps 8.16/8.17/8.18
again.

9. Limitation issues：
If the following error occurs under the program, please renaming the “Rework-secro” folder to
“Rework-secro2” and then try again. If the message show “Secro reworking scatter file NOT
FOUND!”, please press “OK” to next step.
After the success of the update, please remember to change the folder name back to
“Rework-secro”.
