COLOURs
What is Colour?

Colour is the aspect of things that is caused by differing qualities of light being reflected or emitted by
them. To see colour, you have to have light. When light shines on an object some colours bounce off the
object and others are absorbed by it. Our eyes only see the colours that are bounced off or reflected.

What are basic colours (Primary Colours)?

Red (Merah) Yellow (Kuning) Blue (Biru)

What are secondary colors?

The three secondary colours (green, orange and purple) are created by mixing two primary colors.

Examples:

a. Yellow + Blue = Green

b. Red + Yellow = Orange
c. Blue + Red = Purple

Green (Hijau) Orange (Jingga) Purple (Ungu)

There are different colours around us.

Red (Merah) Yellow (Kuning) Green (Hijau) Blue (Biru) Brown (Coklat)

Orange (Jingga) Purple (Ungu) White (Putih) Black (Hitam)
