Antisol®-WB
Curing Priming/Sealing and Surface Hardener Compound
for Freshly Laid Concrete

Product Antisol®-WB is a liquid curing compound for preventing the evaporation of mixing
Construction

Description water in concrete. It is ready for use and simple to apply. It is an un-degradable
compound, i.e. it is primer/sealer for another application.

Uses Antisol®-WB is suitable for trafficable surfaces. Antisol®-WB is sprayed onto newly
laid concrete surfaces to form a thin barrier against premature water loss. Without
disturbance to the normal setting action, the concrete is then allowed to cure and
achieve maximum properties.

Antisol -WB is particularly useful in large areas of exposed concrete, such as:

„ Runways and taxiways
„ Aprons and hard standings
„ Roof decks
„ Pre-stressed beams and piers
„ Irrigation canals/channels

Application Details

Consumption / Dosage The rate of coverage depends on wind, humidity and temperature. As a general
guide: 0.2 – 0.5 kg/m².

Surface Condition The surface water of the newly laid concrete must have evaporated (between ½ to 2
hours depending on temperature etc…).

Application Method / Stir the Antisol®-WB well before use.


Tools

The Antisol -WB has been designed for spray application to the newly laid concrete.
A thin film of Antisol® -WB is applied to the whole surface using hand or motor
operated spray gun. For large areas and concrete “trains”, application can be carried
out by power driven automatic equipment.

Cleaning of Tools Clean all equipment and tools with water

Antisol®-WB is un-degradable compound, so there is no need to remove it. It can be
