Technology can also become addictive, especially for young people, causing eye problems and impacting brain development from excessive screen time. While technology is useful, its dangers require caution and wise use.

Modern technology

    The technology we have has brought us into a place where we don't have to struggle that
much because it is very handy and accessible to use. However, besides the good things it
brings us there are a few negative aspects. This essay is aimed at discussing the advantages
and disadvantages of modern technology.
    On one hand, the Internet is one of the most used means of communication and knowledge
that humans have ever created. It is present in every home and used everyday for the least
unsignificant things to the most important matters as it is extremely easy to use and has all the
information you could possibly want to know. Besides this, the Internet also represents a way of
entertainment supplying to everyone movies, videos, music, series, shows and more.
   In addition to this, as I said before,the Internet and the gadgets are used daily for socialisation.
This way people can spread information and talk to each other faster and easier. Also people
that live kilometres away or are in other countries can easily keep in contact with the loved
ones.
   On the other hand, the accessibility that comes with the Internet can sometimes lead to
negative situations. With social media, many people allow everyone that has acces to internet to
see personal information that can be used against them or that can put their safety at risk. As a
consequence, there are a lot of creepy people, known as stalkers that usually take advantage of
the innocence and vulnerability of others, especially children.
   Also, another disadvantage is that technology can become addictive especially for young
people that sometimes lose whole days playing computer games or that spend too much time in
front of the screen. This can cause serious eye problems and affect the development of the
brain.
   In conclusion, modern techonology provides us a lot of possibilities but we need to use it
wisely and be cautious about its dangers.
