Living in the New Normal way of life brought by this Pandemic did not hinder Mogpog
Central School to carry on in serving its purpose. This year, we are catering about 691 pupils,
360 of which are male and 331 are female from Kinder to Grade VI.

Our services is wholeheartedly offered by 23 teachers and three non- teaching

personnel under the baton of our very able principal, in cooperation with our parents,
stakeholders, Alumni Association and Local Government Units.
In this trying time, we tried our best and see to it that there will be no learners being left
behind. We started in conducting surveys using the LESF and all forms of media to find out the
needs of our clientele and to build a strong link to what the department dictates. This showed
that more than 54% percent of our learners need to use the modular style of learning.

Having the result of the survey, we started an immediate and careful plan based on
Memoranda, DepEd Orders and Republic Acts issued in the field. All of the steps we have taken
was imbedded in our School Learning Continuity Plan taken from each teacher’s Classroom
Learning Continuity Plan.

We had a good start by conducting orientation to Teachers and then to all parents using
all means of communication like house to house visitation, letters, Group Chats and other
media platforms to ensure that all people concerned were well informed.
Different Committees were formed to ensure that jobs to be undertaken will be
executed with utmost favourable results.

The preparation of materials to be used were carefully check. It was packed in its
respective learning packets, put together in one bin with all other instructional materials
needed for pupil’s learning. After packing, it was sanitized and then carried to different
barangays where our pupils reside, by the teachers and the barangay officials practicing the
utmost safety precautions prescribed by the AITF. The same safety practice is being done during
the retrieval of modules.

Education Program Supervisor, District Supervisor, Principal, and Master teachers

provided technical assistance in carrying out the Dry Run. With the assistance of the chosen
Knowledge Source in each Barangay, the Sangguniang Kabataan, Barangay Officials and Parent
Leaders in every Purok, through the guidance of the assigned teachers per barangay, the
answering of modules by the pupils took place following the Classhome Schedule. Teachers
monitor the implementation of the Dry Run daily using online communication and home
visitation as the need arose. Videos sent by parents, how they underwent the modular learning
became one of the assessment basis of the teacher.

Teachers dedication to their work in the midst of this Pandemic did not waiver as they
continue to monitor their learners to ensure quality learning. Distance between barangays did
not matter. Difficult trails, muddy and slippery pathways did not hinder the education workers.
After two days, the first batch of delivered modules was retrieved enabling the teachers
to monitor the progress of the children and knew at once the problems encountered by the
persons concerned. This gave the school the chance to give solution to the arising problems at
once.
During this day, the second batch of modules intended for day 3-5 was delivered for the
teachers to retrieve on day 5.
Upon retrieval of the modules, teachers proceeded to sanitizing of the materials and
checking of the pupils answer to find out the result. Feedbacks from parents were evaluated,
and brainstorming among colleagues was done in order to find out ups and downs of the Dry
Run.
The success of our Dry-run was attributed to good partnership of the school to our Local
Government Units (LGU), stakeholders and supportive parents.
