Washable Filter
Reducing your maintenance costs is a challenge
Washable Filter in the harsh environments of cement, oil, and pulp and paper
industries.
The new washable filter from Rockwell Automation is an
easy upgrade for PowerFlex 7000 ‘A’ Frame and ‘B’ Frame
medium voltage drives. This upgrade allows you to re-use
the filters by washing and maintaining them, saving you the
cost of filter replacement.
Easy Installation
Washable filters are a simple upgrade, which can be
completed on site while the drive remains in service.
Four easy ways to clean filters
1. Vacuum Clean. A few passes of a vacuum cleaner
on the inlet side will remove accumulated dust and
dirt in seconds.
2. Blow with compressed air. Point compressed air
nozzle in the opposite direction of operating air flow
(blow from exhaust side toward intake side).
3. Cold Water Rinse. Under normal conditions the
foam used in the filters requires no oily adhesives.
Collected dirt is washed away quickly and easily
using just a standard hose nozzle with plain water.
(Ensure filter is completely dry before installing.)
4. Immersion in warm, soapy water. Where stubborn
air-borne dirt is present, the filter may be dipped in
a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Then
simply rinse in clean water, let stand until
completely dry and free of moisture, and return to
service.
