An Oracle VM Server may be configured in the Oracle Secure Backup Administrative Server
Oracle VM Server for Linux, Solaris x86 and Windows and/or Client role(s). A VM Server can be configured in the Media Server role only if an OSB
Diskpool or Cloud Device is used. Tape devices are not supported because they require SCSI
pass through which is not supported.
Solaris SPARC
- All Oracle Secure Backup roles are supported. Tape and OSB
Oracle VM Server for Solaris SPARC Diskpool Cloud Devices are supported

IE/Edge Edge 42.17134.1.0, Windows 10 underlying platform. Typical OSB configurations will run the webserver daemons on the
Mozilla Firefox 68.2.3, Windows 10
admin. The OSB webserver will be accessed from the user’s desktop running the
Safari 12.0.2, Mac OS X
browsers as listed.
NOTE: Windows 2016 media server does not support tape devices, Diskpools and Cloud Devices only are supported.
