II. Executive Summary

The food industry today is developing at an increasing rate. With so many options on the
table, it's certainly difficult what food you should choose from a vast variety of snack -- almost
like the list never ends. In Pagadian City, the competition is tight due to a large volume of Milk
Tea shops scattered in every corner of the city. However, too much sweet food consumption is
unhealthy and therefore results from mild to serious complications in the body. According to
scientific studies, the body needs salt to regularly balance the blood flowing in the body. This is
the very reason why the company BUNI is endorsing Bulad with Mani because of health benefits
based on scientific grounds and the availability and affordability of raw materials for the
production of the product.

Bulad with Mani is a product of BUNI, a small company formed by seven degree
holders. The proponents of this plan see the need for an improvement in today's snacks by
bringing a more innovative idea on the plate. As an attempt to introduce a new taste within the
food industry, the company offers special peanut maxiload, a salty concoction that contains
deep-fried salted peanuts infused with dried boneless danggit, asuos, bolinao and pusit. The
product is sealed in different containers with prices ranging from Php20-Php100.

The product is particularly targeted towards health enthusiasts who ingest adobongong
mani as supplements for body enhancement and nutrients. This is also targeted towards anyone
who enjoys chipping mani. The product is designed to fit the tradition and landscape where the
product was originally developed to be sold at an advantage because of high number of dried fish
buyers which entices these buyers to purchase the said product. Not to mention that it also
encourages recreation or innovation of raw materials to formulate new ideas.

One thing that completely sets the product apart from any other is that it is sold at a very
low price. Dried fish is very costly and you can taste it for a minimum price of only Php20 by
purchasing our product, increase the price to Php100 and you'll have more on your fingers.
Imagine having to recreate the same exact recipe but the expenses exceeds more compared to
buying the product at Php20.
The business employs different strategies to get customer attention. First, we will utilize
social media. Then design posters and flyer and have it spread around the town to cater those
who are not social media active. Lastly, we will create a website that contains all necessary
information or details about our product.

Our business is at the edge of becoming the talk of the town because of one thing we
offer that our competitors do not have. The business plans of giving free taste to give customers
the assurance and time for them to choose whether to buy or not. if they choose to buy, they are
automatically registered to a draw-jackpot game where one customer will win lifetime supply of
bulad with mani. Also, the business will give free coupons to those who have no plans of buying
making them think otherwise.

The business runs under these set of hardworking staff namely Jansen Marie Sumalinog
(Chief Executive Officer), Alain Glenn Lazaro (Social Media Manager), Rio Faith Buletic
(Operating Officer), Nicole de Guzman (Marketing Manager), Krish Cartojano, (Financial
Manager), Rizza Mae Alli (Marketing Manager), and Alfadar Yusop (Operating Officer.

The business will have started from scrap meaning we have to begin by selling on the
busy streets and as it grows, we progress and invest on building small shops until it becomes a
factory of producing bulad with mani. The business plans to formally launch in April 2020,
where a pop-up stall will be set up in Rotonda, Pagadian City. For easier reach to customer, the
company will also look into social media presence in Facebook and Instagram
