EDUCATION IN EMERGENCIES. Education in emergencies means providing schooling in humanitarian
emergencies including conflicts or wars, natural disasters and health-related crises, such as the COVID
19 pandemic. Without education, young people's childhood may be lost to child labor, child marriage,
recruitment by armed groups or other life-threatening activities. (source :

As a future teacher, suggest/recommend at least five (5) appropriate learner-centered teaching
modalities/strategies to address the special educational needs of learners in the aforementioned
difficult circumstances.
