Data Sheet Level Alarm Switches S85 PDF

The S85 is a coolant level switch with a programmable microprocessor that can provide one or two output signals if fluid falls below or rises above a preset level, with a delay to avoid false alarms. It has a small footprint for minimal tank intrusion and damage risk. It is suitable for many applications and offers customization options. It has proven reliable over 10 years with over 500,000 units supplied. Future variants will offer dual outputs and an all-stainless steel housing.

coolant level switch

Technical Data – S85 coolant alarm switch

Description
The Model S85 is an active device which is designed to give an alarm signal
if fluid falls below or rises above a preset level. It will only signal after a few
seconds delay in sensing the level to eliminate false alarms due to turbulence.

Containing a programmable microprocessor, the switch can offer one or two

output pins which can sink to ground or supply a source voltage, or both.

Its tiny footprint with limited intrusion into the tank means a reduced risk of
damage and a wide range of options and customisations makes it suitable for
most applications.
