 Scope of Guidance

Is bound to be vast as it has a broader meaning and


wider connotation. The scope of guidance therefore implies the
extent , length, breadth, range comprehensiveness and variety
of helping an individual to solve his problems. So the scope of
guidance covers functionally all aspects of life.

 Scope of Counseling

It includes individual counseling, adolescents


identity, concerns, teen-parent relationships, peer relationships,
anxiety and anger management.

B. SUMMARY

Guidance and Counseling for personal needs/problems

Life is filled with hurdles, obstacles and problems. Not one


of us can think of someone with no problems or someone who has not
needed any guidance in his or her lifetime. Therefore guidance and
counseling services are essential to meet our personal needs and manage
our personal problems.

C. BODY

The scope of Guidance and Counseling has always been the


widest simply because everyone of us needs guidance and in every
aspect of our lives , we need guidance as well as counseling. Parents,
teachers, your brothers and sisters and even your relatives can be the
best source of guidance and counseling in an individual. You cannot
only ask guidance from your teacher or parents but also to all the
people that closer and surrounded to you. Guidance and counseling
assists individuals in each domain of personal, educational and
professional aspects of life.
D. CONCLUSION

We are humans and destined to commit mistakes, all of us


will face a lot of problems in every moment of our lives, meaning to say
every now and then we need guidance and counseling from other people
specially from our family, relatives and also from our friends. A guidance
that will make our path straight towards our dreams that is why we need
to listen to anyone who advised us specially to our parents’ advice for they
always do the things that are best for us.

E. RECOMMENDATION

Guidance and counseling should be design so the students will:

 Acquire and demonstrate academic self-management for


lifelong learner.
 Develop career and educational awareness.
 Demonstrate career planning skills.
 Acquire and demonstrate self-knowledge and self-acceptance.
 Acquire and demonstrate self-management and responsible
behavior.
 Respect and value diversity.
