Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Ivan Neil Espiritu, a college student in Harvard University with a course in Information Technology

and student number 1234567. My purpose of writing this letter is to request for a new student

identification card since I lost my card yesterday.

My student card serves a variety of purpose to me, but unfortunately, I misplaced it last night. I have

been using it to receive fare discount in public buses upon traveling to and from the university and my

house. I also obtain 10% discount whenever I watch movies in the cinemas by presenting it to the

cashier. Additionally, I use this card as my access to the university library which is indeed significant for

me since it is my venue for conducting researches. Most importantly, it is a basis of my identity in order

to withdraw my allowance at the bank.

As aforementioned, I would like to request for a new one. It would really be highly appreciated if it will

be processed the soonest time possible, in order for me to access the privileges of the card. As a

student, the discounts that I receive by using it are very beneficial in keeping money for my savings

account.

I am looking forward to the actions that will be taken to resolve this dilemma and I will be more diligent

in taking care of my valuable items next time.
