WORKING EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assignment starting from field supervisory level, field engineer, site
coordinator, site manager up to project manager of blasting and painting work
for servicing pipe lines, supports, steel structure and tanks.
PAINTING/COATING ACTIVITIES:
Inspection and monitoring of weather condition and surface preparation and
Painting/Coating activities as per Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and
other related reference documents Like SSPC,ISO, NACE
Monitoring the air temperature, relative humidity, dew point and surface
temperature.
Selecting and inspecting the painting materials as per project specification
Review all paints / Coating Specification manufactures product data sheet,
- Receiving inspection of abrasive and Painting Materials.
Monitoring materials storage and, shelf life, mixing and application WFT
Checking, touch up for damage area as required
Witness Abrasive blaster and Coating applicator test and review their
qualification as per Saudi Aramco standards
Monitoring the blast quality ,contamination test abrasive test, inspection the
surface before blasting for oil / grease contamination and check the grade
type & environmental condition as per specification and MSDS
Verification of all equipment condition and instrument calibration
Surface Preparation and Anchor pattern inspection as per the documented
specification and international standards.
Perform holiday testing of underground piping to ensure that all coating free
from defects are required prior to backfilling
Verifying film thickness using WET/DFT Gauges
Conduct the final inspection of Painting/Coating like Holiday Testing, Adhesion
Testing Etc., to ensure the quality of the applied coating and record it.
Analyzing the coating failure to find out the cause and carried out the
appropriate remedy
Prepare Daily and weekly report and work completion reports
Responsible for inspection works for blasting and painting
Read and familiarize with quality plan and procedure
Issue inspection request to client inspectors
Ensure the use of correct surface preparation and painting materials as per
the requirements of construction drawing and Painting specification
Issue NCR for violations and submit it to the QA/QC Departments
Performing high voltage DC Holiday testing of underground piping to ensure
that all coating defects are repaired prior to backfilling
Ensure the use of correct procedure for the paint applications
Verify and maintaining the storage and handling of paint and abrasive
materials
Prepare all inspection reports for final submission to client
