2. Mounting
The EDS 3000 can be mounted directly onto a hydraulic block via the pressure 4-digit
connection, or indirectly using a hose or Minimess line (for torque values, digital display
see Point 10 - Technical specifications). The unit can be turned through 340°
around its longitudinal axis for optimum alignment. The display and key-pad
can also be turned through 270°.
The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician
according to the relevant regulations of the country concerned. (VDE 0100 in LED display for
Germany). The pressure switch housing must be earthed correctly at the same active switching
time. When fitting the switch into a hydraulic block it is sufficient if the block is point
earthed via the hydraulic system. In the case of a Minimess hose-mounting, the
