Wild Animals Report

The document contains summaries of different animal species including the King Cobra, Eagle, Salamander, Thailand's Bumblebee Bat, and Blue Surgeonfish. It provides details about the physical characteristics, behaviors, habitats, diets and other traits of each animal. For example, it notes that the King Cobra is the largest venomous snake and can kill large animals with its bite, Eagles have exceptional vision and some species can have 2.5 meter wing spans, and the Bumblebee Bat is the smallest mammal in the world at only 2-3 centimeters in length.

“MY WILD ANIMALS ALBUM”
REPORT

THE COBRA

The King Cobra is the largest venomous snake in

existence. It weighs around 5.8 kilograms and some
can be up to 5.5 meters long. She has an excellent
memory and is able to distinguish the person who
caught her. Then use that memory of that image to
hunt down the killer, in revenge. The King Cobra is
mainly found in the forests of India. The smallest
species of cobra is the Mozambique spitting cobra, on
average it is 1 to 1.50 meters long. Cobra can be green,
brown, dark brown. Cobras produce a large amount of
venom. With just one bite, they can kill large elephants
or 10-15 adult humans.

The venom of a cobra contains neurotoxins, which can

cause respiratory failure and death in humans.
However, it should be noted that cobras do not attack
humans without provocation.

Spitting cobras can spit out their venom with incredible precision. They can line up with the predator's head and deliver
the venom directly into the eyes. The antidote is made from the same poison.

Cobras eat lizards, frogs, birds, mammals, fish, and other snakes. They have excellent night vision and sense of smell,
which they use to detect prey. The sense of smell is found on the tongue.

Like other snakes, they swallow their prey whole. Their metabolism is very slow, so they need to eat every two months.

THE EAGLE

Eagles are one of the most admired animals in the world,

as well as being a symbol that represents freedom and
power. In the bird world, there are more than 60 species
of eagles, most of which are found in Eurasia and Africa.

Their eyes are large for the size of their heads and they
have very large pupils. They have a million light-sensitive
cells for every square millimeter of the retina, this is five
times more than humans. Also, eagles can see more
colors than humans. All this allows them to have one of
the best views of the animal world.

Usually, adult eagles hatch two eggs, but the largest of

the chicks kills the smallest once it hatches and the
father does not intervene in this. In Greece, the golden
eagle eats turtles, and for this, it raises them to a great
height and then drops them to break their shell. The
harpy eagle and the Philippine eagle are so large that
they can measure 2.5 meters from tip to tip of their
wings and use their huge claws to carry prey that can
range from deer to apes. Eagles are difficult animals to
tame, but those who are dedicated to training them will
know how careful they must be when dealing with them, as they are still game and carnivore after all.

THE SALAMANDER

The common salamander has yellow spots,

can be orange and reddish. It feeds on all
kinds of animals that are of a perfect size,
including other amphibians, its tail is
relatively short. The females are larger than
males. The salamander has neurotoxins to
defend against predators. Its colors warn
that it is poisonous. It is possibly the best
known amphibian in Europe. The body is
elongated and has 4 short legs of the same
length, although in some species they are
very small or lack them. Their skulls are
wide and flat with joined prietal bones and
provided with curved teeth. The pelvic girdle is cartilaginous, lacking a dermal shoulder girdle. The larvae are very similar
to the adults, possessing teeth in both jaws. Unlike frogs, they lack a middle ear. The skin secretes mucus to keep the
animal moist when on land and regulates salt when in water. It also provides you with a necessary lubricant for
swimming.

The salamander is known for its ability to regenerate its lost limbs (similar to that used by newts and largaros) and in
some species they are able to recover certain parts of their body. This feature allows it to escape predators by allowing it
to shed body parts when hunted.

THAILAND'S BUMBLEBEE BAT

It is also called the hornet bat or Kitti's nosed bat. It is a species discovered in 1974 and known as the smallest mammal
in the world, and in this sense, the smallest bat of all. It is also the only member of the Craseonycteridae family.

It is called a bumblebee bat because it is about the same size as a large bumblebee. It registers a head-body length of
2.9-3.3 centimeters and a low weight of 2 grams. This makes it the smallest bat of all, capable of being supported on a
human finger. This tiny bat is an accomplished insectivore. Its diet includes terrestrial and flying arthropods as well as
some arachnids. For this he goes hunting at night and is dedicated to

feeding for a short time before dawn. It searches for its food in the treetops with the help of echolocation, that is, by
means of the emission and interpretation of sounds, and catches them while flying.

It is not known if it is polygamous or monogamous, but it is known that the female gives birth to 1 calf per year and that
the time of birth covers the end of April. The little one receives the care of its mother, but in view of the null
participation of the father in the upbringing, it only spends the moments in which the female goes out in search of food.

BLUE SURGEONFISH

The blue surgeonfish, also called a

blue tang, is easy to identify thanks
to its bright blue, circular body.

They have black markings that start at the eyes and extend to the end of the pectoral fin and its yellow tail fin. The
exotic appearance makes the blue surgeonfish a popular aquarium fish.

Wild blue surgeonfish typically live around coral rocks in the Caribbean, at depths of up to 130 feet (39.6 meters). These
fish can travel in large schools with other species such as surgeonfish and other tang fish. As of 2011, the spikefish are
not considered endangered. The blue surgeon eats algae and can be eaten by large reef fish such as tuna, groupers, and
barracudas.

A newborn blue surgeonfish is very small and does not have the accentuated black and yellow colors. As it grows it goes
from yellow to bright blue. An adult blue surgeonfish can change color from blue to purple at will. This chameleon ability
is related to stress.
