General Subcontractors/ Service Providors Site Requirements
1. Sub-contractor's employee's requirements:
Sub-contractor’s employees should be under the Company's Sponsorship or the Company must have
agreement with another Manpower Subcontractor.
Employees shall have a valid Iqama / valid passport / Insurance Cards
1.1 If the manpower is rented by the sub-contractor:
Service agreement between the subcontractor and one third party supplier shall to be produced and attested
by the chamber of commerce as per the Saudi labor law on the subcontractor’s company letter head.
Service agreement between the two parties shall clearly mention details of employees to include names,
Iqama numbers and date of expiry of the Iqama properly attested by the chamber of commerce as per Saudi
labor law. (Annex should be attached)
2. All the above mentioned and the following documents shall be submitted to BSS Joint Venture HR
Department for verification:
Two Passport color photo ● Occupation ● Blood Group
Nationality ● Iqama No and copy ● Date of Birth
Passport copy (Showing the passport number)
3. Prior to issue the Project lD-Card(s)/Badge(s), BSS Joint Venture HR Department will advise BSS
Joint Venture HSE Dept to conduct Safety Induction(s).
4. On completion of Safety Induction(s), BSS Joint Venture HSE Dept will inform BSS Joint Venture
HR Dept to issue the Project lD-Cards/Badge(s) and the access to the worksite will be allowed. Note:
The access will be allowed only with ID-Card(s)/Badge(S) issued by BSS Joint Venture Human Resource Dept
after completion of the above mentioned process.
5. Sub-contractor's Equipment Requirements:
Valid Third party test/inspection certificate
Vehicle/equipment registration (Estimara) valid
Vehicle/equipment insurance valid
Operator's valid lqama / Valid driving license according to the Saudi Law
Valid Operator's Third Party Certificate (TPC) from an approved third party
Fire extinguishers / Reversing alarm, Beacon light, etc. (where applicable)
6. Site entrance and other requirements:

Personal Protective Equipment
Only employees with proper PPE are allowed to enter the site:
o Reflective cover-all with company Logo for all workers.
o Head Protection (hard hat) complying with ANSI Z89.1
o Eye and Face Protection (safety glass/ face shield) complying with ANSI Z87.1
o Foot Protection (safety shoes) complying with ANSI Z41.1
o Safety harness for work at height complying with international standard and having double lanyard
with shock absorber
o Others as per job requirements complying with international standard
The management reserves the right to prohibit the employee from entering the site in case the procedures
and site safety requirements are not followed and respected.
All employees shall receive safety induction training and safe work briefings before starting their activities.
Failure to follow the safety procedures may lead to the removal of employee from site.
Employees shall always have with them onsite their Iqama and Insurance Card as well as TPC if applicable.
Report any incident/ accident/ near-miss/ sub-standard conditions and unsafe actions so that it could be
addressed.
All operatives shall strictly adhere to the restrictions imposed by the client on the project failure to comply will
result in immediate removal from the project and imposition of penalty to the erring subcontractor.
Statement of compliance to regulations and HSE requirements signed by the most Senior Manager of the
contractor.
Competent Safety Supervisory Staff must be provided including certified first aiders (Ratio 1:50).
