Listen to this passage about animals living in the mountains and write in the words which are missing in

Life in the Mountains

For animals (example) living in the mountains, life can be very challenging. The weather can be extremely
cold, and the thin air can make it hard (1)______________ ______________. However, there is also much

Channel Swimming

Dartmoor Zoological Park

There is a family-run zoo in south west England, which (example) is called the Dartmoor Zoological Park.

Listen to this passage about the famous Russian, Rasputin and write in the words which are missing

Grigori Rasputin (example) was born in a small Siberian village in 1869. His parents were poor and as

Listen to this passage about the engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel and write the words which are

Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the world-famous engineer, (example) was born in Portsmouth, England, in
