APPENDIX F

Episode 3- The Teacher and the Community

POST TEST

1. Are the lessons taught in school transferred to the home and community? How?

Yes, I would really hope and encourage pupils/students to transfer their learning to
their homes and even in their community. It is my duty to teach them good values and
good conducts so that they will do actions positively and meaningfully. What they
learned from school will be transferred to their home, for example the good manners
they learn in school by doing or helping their parent the chores they learned out from
the lesson thought in the school. In my observation, I think some have greatly used their
learnings in the community while others are just misbehaving.

2. What school activities that allows participation of the people in the barangay?

Some of the activities which allows the full participation of the people of the
community is the promulgation of Brigada Eskwela. Cleaning the areas of the school
and doing repairs in the classroom. Another activity is the evaluation of puroks in every
barangay which are facilitated by the teachers and barangay officials.

3. What learning are gains from the participation of the activities?

After joining community activities all who help were able to describe ho community
works and how can we uplift and help our community. They were able to help,
cooperate, and volunteer on community services when needed. Their views and
attitudes toward the community and their surrounding have also change for good.

4. How will you show your school’s gratitude for the assistance and cooperation
extended by the community leaders and members.

By recognizing them for what they have done. Aside from that I will give plaque of
appreciation for those give marvelous achievement for the benefits of the school .
Another ways is to treat and give them something that is made by yourself or buy food
that is popular and loved by people to that area, district, or city.
