Methodology
Renault - Guyancourt

Context

As part of the RENAULT Group's sustainable development and HSE policy "Health Safety
and Environment" and to meet the numerous regulatory requirements on the subject,
Renault has implemented a chemical risk prevention approach. This policy is applied to all
of the Group's sites. Within the HSE department of the RENAULT Group, you will be
attached to the Chemical Hazards Prevention Department of the Industrial Hygiene
Department, a center of expertise in the control of hazardous substances and the risks
associated with their use.

Your missions

The objective of the mission is to propose a new chemical risk assessment method, to
integrate new regulatory requirements (GHS classification for example), and improvements
for more performance.

Your mission will therefore consist of one (1):


 Appropriation of processes and industry standards in Industrial Hygiene &
Chemical Risk
 State of play of the existing method
 State of the art on market valuation methods (benchmark)
 Analysis of relevant information to be considered in a new method (regulatory,
technical, etc.)
 In-house customer surveys (health and safety prevention professions at Renault
sites around the world)
 Proposal of a new method
 Establishment of technical specifications for integration into the existing CHEMIS
computer system (including exchanges with the system editor)
 Validation of the new method on pilot site (s)
 Proposal of a change management process.

Who are you ? 

You are preparing an engineering degree with a specialization in QHSE (Quality-Health-


Safety and Environment) or a Master 2 in Industrial / Technological Risk Management and
you are looking for an internship for a maximum duration of 6 months. 

You come from a branch of chemistry or biology. 

You know the concepts of danger and risk and have a first experience in risk management. 

Knowledge of risk assessment methods would be a plus (HAZOP, MOSAR, AMDEC,


ARAMIS ...) as well as the SEIRICH tool of the INRS. 

You have a good relationship and a great ability to listen. 

You are rigorous and organized. 

You have a good critical mind 

You are curious (to) learn and develop your experience.
