7.RATIONALE:

The Barangay local government unit is mandated to conduct a yearly Barangay General
Assembly which is dated on November 14, 2020 with the community people. It targets the
upgrade and to continue the exercise of their rights through Barangay Development and
political leadership.

The Barangay Dupligan conducted the Barangay General Assembly twice annually,
through the mandate of the Department of Interior and Local Government Units (DILG) as a
basis for Evaluation and Assessment of the performance of Barangay officials especially the
Implementation in all projects/ peace and order base on AIP/BDP and Barangay Ordinance to
meet their goal with respect to their mission and vision being attained.

The Barangay General Assembly or SOBA which is conducted twice a year was concluded
by the Barangay officials/BDC members and community people to cull out from the Semestral
SOBA allocation fund of 30, 000.00, for one day expenses which consists of meals and snacks.
