Background
SE-1515 ECG Workstation is a PC based software with comprehensive functions. As
a stress ECG, SE-1515 supports six different treadmill models: TRACKMASTER,
TM400, TM400(M), LODE, T2000 and COSMOS-MCU4. Here we take TM400 as
an example to introduce the process.

Installation of the software
Extract the SE-1515 installation package and open the folder.
Find the file setup.exe in target folder and double click to install the software. A
shortcut SE-1515 can be found on the desktop after the installation.
Attention: The driver will be automatically installed during the installation of the software.
The user can find the driver packages in the target folder if the reinstallation is needed.
Connect Treadmill and Sampling Box to SE-1515
Connection between Treadmill and Computer
Connect the Treadmill to the AC power via power socket and turn on the main
power switch.
If the computer have the serial port socket:
Connect the treadmill to the computer directly via RS232 serial port cable.
If the computer doesn’t have the serial port socket:
Plug the serial port cable to treadmill via RS232 socket and connect the serial
port cable to the RS232-USB convert cable.
Connect the convert cable to the computer via USB socket.
Connection between sampling box and computer
Connect the sampling box directly to the computer via USB socket.
Attention: The SE-1515 supports 4 different models of sampling box: DP12, DX12 (wireless),
DE15, DE18.
Verification of the Com Port Driver
Open Device Manager of the computer ( right click on the My PC icon, and
click the Manage ).
Check the device port ( COM10) under Serial Port (COM and LPT) and mark
it.
Attention:
If the devices cannot be found under Serial Port (COM and LPT), please check the cable and
connection again
If the devices port cannot be found, please check whether the divers are successfully installed.
If the communication failure window displayed after running software SE-1515 , please check
the cable again.
Verification of the Com Port Baud Rate.
Open Device Manager of the computer ( right click on the My PC icon, and
click the Manage ).
Right click on the COM Port of treadmill, choose “Properties”, go into Port
Setting, modify the “Bits per second” option according to the treadmill model.

Configuration on SE-1515 Software.
After connecting the treadmill and sampling box to the computer, the device model
and the device port of the treadmill and sampling box should be set correctly in the
System Setting of SE-1515. The setting of sampling box can be automatically set by
latest software version V1.42. However, the old version of software need to be set
manually.
Run SE-1515 program and enter into the Exercise submenu.
Click the Settings button and following window will show on the screen.
Select the correct Device Model (DP12) and Device Port (COM3) of the
sampling box In Sampling Setting menu.
Select the correct Device Type (Treadmill), Device Model and Device Port
(COM10) in Device setup Treadmill/Ergometer menu.
Set the Protocol of the treadmill in Treadmill/Ergometer menu
You should be able to run a stress test now after all these above configurations
Verify the Connection via the Device Test Tool
Enter the Setting menu by click the icon on main user interface of SE-1515.
Click the Advanced Setting button under Other Setting submenu
Typing password 006363 and open the Advanced Setting menu.
Click Device Test button in Advanced Setting menu.
Change parameters and run test process in Device Test menu.
