How to fix Facebook / Instagram problem “Il

tuo account è stato disabilitato” or “Dein
Konto wurde deaktiviert” or “Your account
has been disabled” or “Tu cuenta esta
deshabilitada” or “ Votre compte a été
désactivé” or “Аккаунт Facebook
заблокирован”.

Probably you experienced such situation: You woke up and once you logged to
Facebook or Instagram you saw a message like “Il tuo account è stato disabilitato” or
“Dein Konto wurde deaktiviert” or “Your account has been disabled” or “Tu cuenta
esta deshabilitada” or “ Votre compte a été désactivé” or “Аккаунт Facebook
заблокирован” or something similar, maybe in another language.

Yes i know, is a nightmare! In just 1 second you lose weeks or months of Facebook
conIgurations, friends, followed people, liked pages, business pages, Instagram
Accounts (because you connected Facebook to Instagram) and much more.
If not, then you are lucky, but still not safe! Facebook changed something in their
algorithm. Now a lot of accounts get disabled without any reason, even if you never
did anything with Facebook in the last time, for example you just logged in every 2
weeks to check your feed for 1 minute, without liking post/page, commenting, etc.

So it doesn’t matter if you log to your account every 3 months or daily, if you follow
only pages without commenting post or joining groups, if you organize your
Facebook accounts by topics or you use just 1 account, if you use it to manage your
business pages or with other goals, if you already veriIed such account multiple
times, if you use Facebook since 2010 or earlier, if you use 1 or 10 devices, etc. They
just disable people in batch, without any reason. We understand it’s correct to
disable people, that go against Facebook Policies, but this in not the case for a lot
disabled accounts in 2020.

This is the reason why i opened the new Subreddit r/facebookdisabledme/, to help
people and spread such messages to Facebook Devs too. This is an important topic,
because Facebook has no right to disable accounts in random mode. Again, if there is
a true infringement of Facebook Policies is a point, if not is another.
Is just not correct that Facebook disables accounts without warning (we get 0 E-
Mails), and once the 30 days are over, we don’t have any option to recover such
accounts (for example if we never used Facebook for the last 60 days, so we never
saw the deactivation message at login before). In such case the account is simply
disabled.

We ask Facebook to change their algorithm to protect user data and our
work7ows, by avoiding to disable people without any reason.

We ask Facebook to improve support service (via E-Mail or Chat or other) too
and we hope that Facebook remove the deactivation of accounts in
background.
I copy here some steps you can do to keep you account safe or to help Ix this
problem at all. You can Ind such steps even on Reddit. There is no a true Ix.

What you can do already now to keep your account safe:

1) Download your data, your liked pages, friends, groups, etc.

2) Add other admins to groups and pages (ø)

3) Add 3–5 trusted friends in case there are login problems using this page (ø)

4) Check your Facebook account every month at least 1–2x (ø)

5) Create an IFTTT E-Mail rule (ø)

6) Maybe add 2step veriIcation (but probably doesn’t Ix the problem *)

7) Maybe add a credit card (but probably doesn’t Ix the problem too *)

8) Use your real name (remove other names like Apple ProIle or similar *)

9) Add at least a photo of yourself

10) Read this

11) Avoid to use VPN (ø)

12) Respect people / Facebook Rules and avoid to spam (ø)

13) Avoid to access to many account at the same time or the same account with
dicerent devices/browsers/apps (ø)

14) Avoid to open to many accounts at the same time (ø)

15) Be sure your recovery E-Mail and Phone are correct (ø)

16) Join the petition

17) Report such stories to newspaper, television or consumer right associations in

your countries

18) …

*= they disabled users even after doing that

(ø) = they disabled users even if you respected such rules

What you can do once the account has been disabled:

1) Send an image/id of yourself and wait 1–3 days // Warning: they can disable your
account permanently after this step, sometimes you cannot download data or access
your Facebook account anymore. So please save always all data before doing that.

2) Check this YouTube video

3) Check this Twitter post

4) Check this Reddit post

5) Try to contact Facebook directly

6) Report such stories to newspaper, television or consumer right associations in

your countries

What you can do once the account has been enabled again:

1) Avoid to write about Facebook Deactivation in Facebook

2) Repeat the steps “keep your account safe”, if you haven’t done it until now

I need to remember you that the activation of your account by Facebook doesn’t
mean you are safe! I already experienced such things personally too, where my
account has been disabled permanently, even after multiple positive veriIcation
(and without any activity on Facebook at all in the last days).

I suggest you to check all links i wrote in the subreddit, maybe you can Ind other
new ways to Ix the problem.
