HEAD LIGHT & TURN SIGNAL TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION PROCEDURE
HEADLIGHT
1.At tail light on position two terminals gives continuity. Such as
tail and ground
2.Make the switch at head position , three wires(terminals) will
rd
have continuity, so that the 3N one is head light terminal
.B if at tail position 3 terminals gave continuity there is short
circuit.
- from dimmer switch at vertical position there are 3 switches
spring loaded flash switch at the top, low beam at middle or
normal position the third and bottom position is high beam
3. Then at low beam position, we will have another ground and
low beam terminal
-Therefore two grounds are available for tail & head light circuit
and for high, low & flash circuits
4. Make the switch at high beam position (to the bottom position),
we can get high beam terminal as a result of continuity between
ground and high beam terminal
5. The last and the rest one terminal is flash terminal, we can get
continuity between it and ground
TURN SIGNAL TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION
1. at both hazard & turn signal switch is off, two
wires(terminals) will give continuity, such as terminal F
& B1
2.Next, make hazard switch at ON position, another one
terminal will give continuity Whether with F or B1. This
terminal is called B2
-NIn other side, the terminal which gave us continuity
with B2 is called F terminal.
3.Then make hazard at OFF position, and let’s make turn
signal switch at turn right position(TR), we can get
another two terminals, such as TB and TR
4.Next let’s make the switch at turn left position(TL), TB
and TL will give us continuity
-We can identify TB when there is continuity between
TB and TL, I.e. TB is a common terminal for TL & TR
