Mini Project: Introduction To Manufacturing Engineering - Me2036

This document outlines the requirements for a mini project report on an introduction to manufacturing engineering. The report must have 5 parts: 1) introduce the product with basic dimensions and applications, 2) select material(s) and present properties, 3) select manufacturing processes and describe fabrication sequence, 4) select and describe heat treatment, 5) provide a conclusion. The report is due one week before the last class and must have a signed cover sheet. The mini project is worth 30% of the mid-term grade, which along with class participation and a mid-term test, make up 40% of the overall assessment for the course.
