PCS7 Procedure

How to set the historian for analyze the data in case or alarms or trips

In case it would be necessary to analyze data for a specific date and time, follow the next steps for
set the historian.

1. Select alarm logging push button (Incoming lis)


Incoming list Shows the incoming list in the working area. When you open the message system the
first time, the incoming list is displayed.
The incoming list displays all messages that have not yet been acknowledged.

2. Select journal list (History list)


History list Shows the history list in the working area.
The history list displays all the events reported in process mode.

3. Select “Selection Dialog”

4. In Selections window create a new filter:

5. Define the next parameters (Criterias): Type, Date/Time

• Criterion: Type
o Operand: equal to
 Setting: Select all boxes

• Criterion: Date/Time
o Operand: greater than
 Setting: starting date and time

• Criterion: Date/Time
o Operand: less than
 Setting: ending date and time
