Are You a Renaissance Humanist?

According to our reading, the “interest in learning during the Renaissance was spurred by Humanism” (320). To better
understand this new philosophy, let’s take a deeper look at it.

Task:
 Identify the main elements (key points) of Renaissance Humanism.
 Make a list of the main 4-5 elements you feel are key to understanding this philosophy.
 For each element, write a short description explaining it.
 For each one, decide how much you agree with it. Rate your agreement 1-5 [1: totally disagree; 5: totally agree.]
 Give yourself an overall score! Are you a Renaissance Humanist?

Show all this in an infographic you create in Canva. Post it on your blog under the category of Humanities and add
appropriate tags.
